so i called Aperiomecs and had a long conversation with them i also talked to my doctor today in detail about it.
this test is unlike any other test that's available on the market as far as i can tell.
they've sequenced the entire genome for 37,000 known pathogens so if they find a match with your biological sample its a 100% certainty that you have that pathogen.
this is different than PCR which extracts the DNA, spins it up and makes copies which essentially creates a much wider range of "positives".
this test is considered 100x more accurate than PCR.
compare this to DNA Connexions Urine test. ever wonder why 90% of the people that take this test are lyme positive? it's because of the flaws in the PCR approach which is better for research purposes versus diagnosis.
sure back in the 80's when it first came out it was all the rage but being able to sequence the entire genome of all these pathogens is a huge leap forward in accuracy.
the downsides of this test. you of course have to capture the pathogen in your sample which isn't always the case.
it's dang expensive each sample (no matter the biological sample e.g. plasma, urine, fecal, etc.) is $1000.
they are fighting with insurance companies like Aetna to have the CPT codes covered by insurance. the guy told me Medicare covers the codes but Aetna is stubborn calling it experimental which it definitely isn't.
i'm sensitive to spending money but may give this one a whirl since it seems my insurance company (Aetna) may cover half the cost since one CPT code seems to be covered.
if this doesn't work out I might try the bioresonance.

in terms of my symptoms not being caused by an active infection i don't believe that due to simple cause and effect. when i'm off my abx for a few days the symptoms start creeping back in. when i'm on them they stay at bay.
could something else be happening that the abx is causing to subdue the symptoms sure but the most simple explanation is its killing/subduing the bugs causing my nerve flare ups.
I had called them awhile back too and had posted on here. If I recall another member told me not to waste my money.
I did byron white challenges and never reacted to lyme, bart, parasites. So that didn’t work for me. Abx are antinflammatory so maybe that is helping??
I recently had an electrodermal scan which I think is similar to bioresonance. Not sure how good the chiro was though. I gave up my top llmd at the begining of year and on a waiting list for Klinghardt trained doc. There’s also been a lot of talk from Klinghardt docs that retroviruses are the bigger issue with lyme disease. They are seeing results clinically from treatment. Maybe this is why bvt works so well since it hits just about
everything.
