That's interesting. My grandfather had rheumatoid arthritis very bad and had started bee stinging before he passed away. I've had a lot of old timers tell me it cured their arthritis. But, they would have the bee sting them on their joints.

Did your sting sites ever get infected? I got a new batch of bees from a local beekeeper today. First off, the venom in these bees burned a bit more than the ones I had mailed. Second, my wife had to run an errand just after she stung me. So the stingers stayed in for over 2 hours. It's been about 6 hours since the stingers were removed and the sting sites are very sore. I haven't had this with the previous stings.

Does bee venom therapy work for babesia? I read something somewhere that Klinghardt says you need higher dosing to treat babesia. I'm just curious, I don't know anything about it.

Super, yeah I'm reading up more on it and it seems a lot of people are able to treat babesia with it. Do most people do the bee stinging on their own? or is it possible to find practitioners who will do the apitherapy? I imagine it is much cheaper doing it on one's own, but tbh I find it a bit daunting. I'm sure I'd figure it out, but the first times I do it I wouldn't mind having a medical professional around in case I have a serious allergic response.

I was thinking about dmso today, for some reason. Wondering if applying dmso to the sting site would help usher in the bv to otherwise hard to reach areas.

Its definitely not for everyone. And i t’s imperative to read the protocol. There are definite safety measure one must employ. Yes. It’s a commmitment and it is not the easiest thing in the world. But I’m sure any who has been chronically beaten down by Lyme exeperiences a pain that is almost unbearable and debilitating. The minor pain involved in this procedure/protocol is well worth it. I got my life back!!

I, too, got my life back! Not completely well yet, but I'm about 2.5 years into BVT. I was homebound for 3 years and the horrendous experience too unreal to describe. But today I can mostly work 5 days a week. I didn't think I would ever be this well again. A complete miracle considering I kept declining month after month and year after year even while seeing very competent LLMDs. Picture someone in the end stage of cancer with only months to live. Abstract: "Lyme disease is a tick-borne, multi-systemic disease, caused by the bacterium Borrelia burgdorferi. Though antibiotics are used as a primary treatment, relapse often occurs after the discontinuation of antimicrobial agents. The reason for relapse remains unknown, however previous studies suggest the possible presence of antibiotic resistant Borrelia round bodies, persisters and attached biofilm forms. Thus, there is an urgent need to find antimicrobial agents suitable to eliminate all known forms of B. burgdorferi. In this study, natural antimicrobial agents such as Apis mellifera venom and a known component, melittin, were tested using SYBR Green I/PI, direct cell counting, biofilm assays combined with LIVE/DEAD and atomic force microscopy methods. The obtained results were compared to standalone and combinations of antibiotics such as Doxycycline, Cefoperazone, Daptomycin, which were recently found to be effective against Borrelia persisters. Our findings showed that both bee venom and melittin had significant effects on all the tested forms of B. burgdorferi. In contrast, the control antibiotics when used individually or even in combinations had limited effects on the attached biofilm form. These findings strongly suggest that whole bee venom or melittin could be effective antimicrobial agents for B. burgdorferi; however, further research is necessary to evaluate their effectiveness in vivo, as well as their safe and effective delivery method for their therapeutic use."
