I have cytomegalovirus and wonder if Lysine breaks it up, it's weird because most people are asymptomatic but it seems to be re-activated and is my added "tiredness" achy symptom. I'll say it does seem I get more outbreaks and am more susceptible to opportunistic viruses like HHV's.
I now fervently believe Lyme disease turns on or reactivates Herpes infections, and it’s not a gentle process. It wreaks havoc on your body. That’s why my doctor believes if he treats the EBV, Lyme disease will go away. Of course I still have to treat mold/CIRS, Bartonella, Candida, etc., separately. That’s why I always say to people that Lyme disease is the least of my problems. It’s done its damage, now it’s time to correct that damage by going after the root cause: EBV.
My understanding is that there is no cure for EBV and Herpes. You can manage and treat the symptoms, but will live with the virus for the rest of your life.
Is that what you mean when you say go after the root cause? Just treat the symptoms to keep it in check? No. Refer to my discussion with k07. PrimeSpot is the test you use to get an idea of what viruses you have. Then RGCC (company) makes an antiviral to what you have tested positive for (one virus at a time) and you must wait 6 months in between each antiviral shot. Before that you have to be retested with the PrimeSpot test and then receive the new treatment from RGCC. It’s supposed to obliterate the EBV, or whatever viral infection you have. It’s new, and the technology has been used on cancer patients for awhile.
