Hi sebrag-- thanks for your compassionate reply. I'm thinking of also adding this to my other thread about
my symptoms.
A lot of my symptoms are specific to my pubic area... and it's unfortunate that they started about
2 months after my first ever sexual encounter of receiving unprotected oral because that sent me into a still-present spiraling fear of herpes despite several negative tests.
I've created these lovely diagrams haha
/imgur.com/a/207ZhC3 this is the first thing that appeared on my inner thigh. Then everything else started. I was convinced this was herpes. This lasted for a month and a half and itched.
/imgur.com/a/Qvo5J8O I also had this rash on my torso, it still itches often but isn't visible.
I found the images labeled "lyme" on a dermatology website.
Present:
-pubic area irritation, itch, rash. Hair has to be shaved clean all the time or it's unbearably uncomfortable.
-watery vaginal discharge (consistent for 2 months and now happens once in a while), mostly odourless be I think it has a bit of a sickly smell
-goopy brown spotting in between periods on occasion
-irregular menstrual cycle
-rashes on torso (pictured, but also others that come and go)
-muscle aches usually in groin/pelvic area (waxes and wanes)
-Inner thigh itch (waxes and wanes) Antihistamines seem to help this somewhat
-extremely sensitive skin, almost starts bleeding when scratched. Irritated by clothing
-hair thinning (I think this has slightly improved but it was terrible. I upped my ferritin so maybe that helped)
-feeling like I have a fever but temperature actually normal or below average (waxes and wanes)
-clumsiness, less articulate, some word recollection difficulty (not very severe, maybe just stress)
-nauseated after doing simple exercises (10 push ups, planks)
-round puffy face
-feeling of burning skin accompanied by redness when pressure is added (waxes and wanes) Sometimes it's just my bum, sometimes is all the way down my thighs
/imgur.com/a/ABWWUh0-nerve pain from waist down (waxes and wanes)
-back and neck aches(waxes and wanes)
-fatigue (used to be worse, but I work at home now so maybe that helps)
-occasional tinnitus (used to happen a lot upon standing but has relaxed since)
-legs constantly falling asleep (this has always happened but I feel like it's become more frequent)
-feeling of a sore throat coming on but not actually sick (happens about
once a month)
-extremely itchy nose (not allergies as this does not go away on antihistamines)
-easily imprinted skin (indents from clothes, seats)
-flashes in my eyes when I shut them to go to sleep at night (rarely)
-heart beat skips (anxiety?)
-occasional uncomfortable urination
-tiny pin prick cherry angiomas on upper arms
-slightly blurry vision
-itchy hands and feet, had some pink dots on my feet (rarely)
-easily tipsy from alcohol (not always, but often I’ll feel buzzed after just a few sips of wine. I used to be able to drink a lot with little effect)
Past:
-slight weight fluctuations (gaining and losing 7 lbs)
-sugar cravings
-swollen feet, blister far more easily
-anal itch,fissures
-bug crawling sensations on skin
-what felt like the start of an ear infection, lasted for about
a week
-strange pressure noises in ears before bed (rarely)
-minor light and sound sensitivity
My adrenal function is fine, normal liver function, hormone tests so far seem to be pretty normal, all STIs negative, I sleep through the night no problem (even oversleep but I've been like that for a long time), magnesium plasma normal (want to get an RBC test), B12 normal, calcium normal, negative lead blood test, negative toxoplasmosis, normal morning cortisol, negative stool tests, negative EBV, negative CMV, negative West Nile, normal CRP, negative autoimmune tests
I have low vitamin d (not sure the #), had low ferritin that I've now leveled out with supplements.
I also came back with a low reactive (1:64) IGG for Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever and Murine Typhus. My lyme western blot results are in my signature, as you saw.
I've been bitten by at least 4 ticks growing up in Ontario, Canada. But this started when I was working in California. The house I was staying at did have a tendency to have some creepy crawlers.
