I may have a chance to go to Evita Or Sponaugle to treat my lyme and coinfections after 3 years of suffering. I know everyone has opinions and I appreciate that but im looking for facts. if im going to do this I only have one shot. They both are going to cost around 100k which I do not have but am going to try and raise. Ive got to make the right decision and im worried. They are both great clinics but Evita is 31 hrs away and says 8/10 weeks while Sponaugle is 9 hrs away and says 16 weeks. Im torn between both but im not going to choose based on convienence. Envita is well known in the U.S. for being on top for lyme and research but Sponaugle has treated over 10k patients successfully returning them to 85/93%.. Any one who has been ther or knows someone who has please let me know.. Please no negative comments, I know everyone is different and what works for some doesn't with others.. please just facts if any, thank you so much
Former patient at Envita. You’re hooked up to an IV for 8 hours 5 days a week. Then you have to do outside treatments like colonics and lymphatic massage and something else I never did. Then when you get back to your condo/hotel, you must do enemas and epsom salt baths. Your days will add up to 10-13 hours or more of treatment. I never had time to fix meals, even though my Dad was with me. Neither one of us could keep up. I left after 5 weeks. They claim it’s a spa like atmosphere, but every time I walked through the front door, my energy was immediately sucked right out of me. They mess with your brain and it caused a psychotic episode with me. They give you insulin, until your blood sugar drops to 30. Then you eat while they infuse ANtibiotics (it’s called IRAD). Most of the time I could never finish the daily treatment protocol, because I had to run to outside treatment appointments. I became suicidal and homicidal after an IRAD session, later that night. They claim treatment is individualized, but everyone gets the same IV antibiotics. The only reason to go there is to see their wonderful chiropractor, because his painful medieval torture-like table method actually took the pain away from my spine for over a month.
In closing, I don’t recommend Lyme clinics at all. I lost over $100,000 in that horrible place. I truly believe most Lyme clinics are predatory and not worth any of our time. I hope my account has helped somewhat.
