Im am so frustrated with the nuero stuff it is really discouraging. I recently had two moths where I felt better and thought I was well on my way. then like clock work between the 12 and 19 every month I had a flare. The last two monthly flares were so mild. This months were bad as far as intrusive thoughts. I have to say on the positive the nephropathy and ringing in the head has been a lot better. Trying to stay optimistic but maybe I was killing more bugs this round. I did start CSA, Andrographs and Cats Claw powder in early mid august. I am hoping I caught these bugs at a varnuable point in a cycle. Just when I think I figured it out I get the carpet pulled out

Taking lomatium really marked a turning point in a lot of my neuro symptoms, but I really don't know why. I've heard it does nothing for a lot of people. Maybe it was something else I was taking. It's really frustrating trying to find a cause-and effect relationship for everything.

I know what you mean about flares every twelve to 18 months. That's happened to me several times.

Yes monthly like clockwork. I wonder how much does hormnes affect cognition. Slowly about 4 years ago I was always tired and just felt a little off cognitively. My computation is not what it used to be and OCD thoughts and urges are problematic. Hopefully I can keep getting better and keep my new job.

I understand your frustration. Hang in there and keep trying different things if something doesn't work.

Keep building your immune system up too.

I know it is like one step forward and two steps back ,but try to keep the faith and hope that you will get better.

Thanks, gohawk. I worry about my brain alot! Im sure alot of us do. I hope not much damage has happened. I do however have days when I fell 85 % of my former self. Maybe the recent add in of Andrographs and CSA are catching them in a cycle? IDK? Are spirochetes varnuralble more so in cyle phaeses?

I totally get what you are saying. Like WAY too much. I haven't been posting anything here for months because I don't trust what I think anymore. I have been contemplating posting my particular weirdness, so I won't go into much here. I just want you know there is someone out there that understands. So sorry you are going through it.

Thank you. I do feel like I have made lots of progress but wheen I feel like I'm turning a corner I reminded of the beast that lives in me. I know we're all in this together but it does get to youbat times. I am male btw

I just noticed over the last 8 to 10 months when things start to calm down I always got worse in that time frame and it takes anywhere between 5 to 10 days to get back to feeling good. My question is is the organism more vulnerable during Cycles? I definitely think I got a cyst version of this bug. Currently on the funeral program with most of the barter herbs and CSA. As well as I am taking cat's claw and Andrographs. Curcumin has been a godsend for me.

Have you tried Uncaria rynchophylla its a Chinese cats claw different from the tomentosa and BUhner recommends that it is essential for neuro.

Also for repairing neuro damage: Bakail skullcap and red sage.

Yes Anitas! At one point I could not find my way around a grocery store. My fiance was worried because I would put stuff in the fridge that belonged other places besides the fridge. I only had sucided Ideolgy months ago and it lasted only a week but it was intense. I also would get word block and couldn't put any thoughts into words. my reading comprehension was horriable. Many different psychological OCD/Anxiety/Urges. Tinnitus. light fevers. Hip Pain. gained 100lbs and diet / excersice would not do much for weight loss. I always was the mellow voice of reason. Never in one hundred years would have I thought how much of a mess i became.

I am getting better after 1 yr and 4 months. still I have slower processing speeds, attention problems, weird thoughts and urges (getting alot better and only during that 12th -20th day of the month the more intense head presssure causes this the more pressure more intense the OCD and intrusive thoughts). I noticed my tinnitus this month is alot better hardly noticed it.

I am going to add those herbs in now that I am working and have a steady income. I still am embarrassed to talk with primary care dr, and loved onens about my symptoms because as much as it scared the hell out of me others may ostracize me and write me off as a lunatic. I probably missed a lot more symptoms that I have had. I still worry about the permanent damage to the brain. I am going to just feed it with nutrients and contiue with the herbs. At one time I thought I was going insane but in those moments of insanity amazingly from somewhere i dont know where my gut told me that you are not crazy. something more is gong on. When they say go with your gut a lot of times my gut was right. The buhner protocol does work but as I feel better the set backs IE herxing or flaring always remind me that its not over yet.

all my neurological symptoms went away with Ivermectin but that could be specific to just me because I definitely had a co-infection with a parasite. It seemed the lyme would die down, then it would cycle back no matter how many antibiotics or herbs. I read here and thought the lyme was hiding in the parasites so after taking Ivermectin, for whatever reason, zero neurological problems.

I did not try Buhner program, although I take Cat's Claw the tomentosa version powder from amazon. I can't take more then 1/4 teaspoon (even that is to strong for me), or I get really sick (!) and can't function. My LLND told me to reduce my Cat's Claw (I was taking 1/2 tsp) to less, I took maybe 1/4 tsp or less. I immediately felt better. At the time I was on amoxicillian 500mg 2x a day and Tumeric. I think that is it

I know lots of people say Buhner protocol on here, but is it strong enough for somebody like Woodduck12?

Woodduck12, do you think you might consider finding a LLMD and ask them about Ivermectin?

I am on: Ivermectin 9mg 3days every other 14 days
IV Penicillin G 2.5ml every other 3 days
Alinia 500mg 4x/day for 2000mg a day
Cat's Claw 1/4 tea spoon
Turmeric 1 TSP
Teasel root: 1TSP chewed
Green Stevia: 1/4 tea spoon (had to go down from 1 TSP, to strong)
Garlic 20:1 extract: every other 3 days 1/4 tsp (to strong)

I am symptom free and only problems I am having is that I am taking a lot of stuff, and getting "hang overs". I do get slight itching if I don't do anything for 24-36 hours. I went from bed ridden to totally bored and trying to figure out what to do/looking for a job in 6 weeks.

other stuff I take: I fast a lot and only eat meat, iodine drops, selenium, zinc (once a week), vitamin B (once a week), Vitamin c (once every two weeks), fish oil (every other day maybe), meletonin every night to sleep

is there anything you can try from my protocol to get better? wishing best of luck hang in there
the neurological problems were TEMPORARY and went away after I started feeling better.

OH I wanted to add. The one day I took a whole tablespoon of Cat's Claw... I drove to Mcdonalds to buy lunch. I then walked to my car, put the food in there. And then I walked back in (???) and bought it again. When I got back to the car I realized I just bought lunch twice. It was totally strange. That was the day my LLND told me to stop taking so much cat's claw and that went away.

Thank you. My problem is can not recall what I did yesterday or past months it's like my memory is being erased that's scary ,anyone experience that?I'm stuck.

By mid afternoon things i did that morning feel like a distant childhood memory and by nighttime i have no clue of anything that happened that day. My friend told me that this July i lived with her for 3.5 weeks and she's in another state. I have zero recollection of being there

I've had memory problems too but those are getting better my thing is processing speeds and being able to think two steps ahead and sometimes. And that's many times although I am getting better. it just scares me to think this could be a long-lasting thing. I guess what someone would say an airhead would be that's how I feel most of the time

What's worrisome is my MRI from a year ago showed the cerebral sulci over the convexity showed mild prominence. The neurologist said this could just be normal. It wasn't any concern but to me with the processing speeds I feel like my brain is suffering from some atrophy

I know how difficult it is ,it's unfair ,it's hard for my to process things too ,it's like my eyes /vision is not synced with brain and I have no sense of self my personality is gone the brain fog or whatever it is its just to much basically it's like having poison inside my brain And a possessed body ,I have no idea what's going on but I'm sufering alot of neuro issues ,everything looks different everything feels different I'm just not my self ,my tests came back and I'm lost in lala land and even if it's lyme I havent found and successful stories and that scares me.

Are you trying any there herbal protocols? I know I couldn't feel anything at one point and at one point it felt like my brain was actually numb like it fell asleep. I don't know if Lyme is totally to credit or if it's a different pathogen or virus but I can tell you something's definitely going on that is linked to a lot of neurological disorders I believe in society. I just think it's way too easy for the Y codes to write it off as anxiety depression mental illness. Things do get better with nutrition and treatment. But it could be very very slow. I feel a lot better pretty much 4 the month it's only about one week out of the month that I feel like crap. I tell you what I never look at someone on the street the same again as far as people with mental illness. I looked at them when I wonder what pathogen is causing them to be like they are. Because I exhibited same behaviors at one point. And I could feel it and I know for a fact it was inflammation-causing it.. what I decided to do is add a bunch of anti-inflammatories and broad-spectrum antimicrobial herbs and I got to say it has helped maybe another 6 months from now I'll be even better with the whole good month we will see. But their arms do work. Treatment can be another cumbersome endeavor because you got to decide what works for you and what doesn't work for you. What works for one person may not work for the other. trail and error. The worst thing is to give up because you'll never know the potential that you have in beating this.

The only thing I'm doing is eating healthy ,take vitamins and some other "natural"meds the doctor gave me. My perception of vision is totally off its like it's not synced with my brain ,I don't feel "present" and these tremors from head to toe kill me every night I'm literally so confused my brain does not work the way it used to and at this point I'm terrified ,it's a nightmare and no mafter what I do I just can't bring my "self"back it's horrible

Also look into mold issues with all the brain stuff if you are not getting better with lyme and co treatment. Can't stress this enough! Metals and chemical sensitivities too...
