My current diagnosis is persistent chlamydiosis and mycoplasmosis (both pneumoniae varieties). I had high antibody titers against both of them - and not only IgG but also, and more importantly, IgA. I'm not fully convinced yet whether these microbes are the ones to blame for the constant feeling of pressure and burning in my head, for the eye discomfort/light sensitivity, chronic fatigue and weakness, neuropathy, paresthesias, ear ringing etc. etc.... Those are just the most important symptoms, there are many things more but I'm feeling too bad right now to describe them...
I'm undergoing Cap protocol for Cpn (Chlamydia pneumoniae) right now, I'm not sure but I suppose it covers Mycoplasma aswell... at least in theory. Check out cpnhelp.org.
I have tested higly positive for Mycoplasma also with the ELISPOT test. However, after trying some IV abx the test was then negative but it probably wasn't an accurate result since the next day we found out about these high values of IgG and IgA (IgA means current infection?).
My doctor believes these are an issue but so far I have not had clear reactions on this protocol (just like with everything else) BUT it can take still more time before anything happens so I remain hopeful...
What symptoms do you have?
(Note that I have tested positive also for Borrelia, Babesia, Bartonella, CMV etc. so yeah we will see which one it really is... but it definitely could be Cpn and Myco. People tend to think that Myco doesn't really go into the nervous system but I have read otherwise. I have heard it can spread out just like other stealth microbes... when given the chance. Also note that many people have antibodies against Myco so I encourage you to test for other things aswell!)
