Does bartonella form a biofilm? Your thoughts.

I am on biofilm treatment but my LLMD didn’t specify if it’s lyme, bart or ...?

The biofilm treatment is prescribed when Babesia is being treated and continues with Bart treatment.

Some ex member used to preach on the calcification of bartonella ...i notice a direct correlation to many sx when i supplement or treat biofilm ...i still use chanca piedra and bvt ...if biofilm uses minerals as klinghardts states with supp mag vs topical or iv then im sure calcium is a deficiency also ...or at play in their biofilm structures ...

I was told (or read in Buhner's book) that coinfections also hide in the biofilm that borrelia forms...

Bartonella is an intracellular organism. It does not form biofilms.

it really doesn't matter whether bart causes them or not because in the end you don't know what pathogens you are carrying and just assume biofilms are formed, bugs hide in them and you must treat them as part of any protocol

As Rikky stated - biofilms should be part of Lyme and co’S treatment plan - as should cysts .

Do any antibiotics hit them. I was having some stomach trouble when I tried the xylitol lacto. Heard that allimed possibly gets them so I was looking into that.

LJohn plenty of biofilm busters out there. xylitol hurts lots of people's stomachs my wife hates it.

search the site for old threads to find a list of alternative.

in terms of abx i've heard bactrim is a mild buster but you really have to use something that's strong and effective.

Tinidizole is good against biofikms I think I might add it.

I know tinidazole and Flagyl are used for cysts.

Are we not differentiating between cysts and biofilms?

Or do the cyst busters get at the biofilms too?

I know DrJ prescribes biofilm treatment and cyst busters
