Hello all. I am in the middle of Lyme treatment. I think candida issues and now the recent discovery of my dental issues is causing a halt on my forward progress . Here is one picture if you want to see https://imgur.com/a/8LRzhxv

I have been reading through the forum's old posts on biological dentists. I have researched both the iabdm and the iamot. I visited one biological dentist but I am a little nervous.

Would any of you care to share via DM biological dentists you have successfully used for cavitations, extractions, and more. Reading testimonies from patients with normal immune systems is one thing, reading positive testimonies from Lyme patients is really huge and helpful.

I'm not sure about what I'm seeing. Is that a cavitation to the right of a root and also another one over more to the right?
Is it just empty space? Or an infection....?

I don't have a photo of the cavitations. What you are looking at are my two abscesses (hole in jaw filled with bacteria). Infection started at one tooth and migrated to the other. Good grief.

I really do believe when I address my mouth, I will resume moving forward towards health.

Issues with seeing things move around me and balance have improved. Before the dental issues flared, I had some really great days that included yard work. I will get back there (maybe that smiley face should include 2 less teeth!)

Do you not have any symptoms from the two abscesses? ie pain...swelling....


When I first glanced at the image, I thought - oh there's her belly button....NOT unless your belly button is on your jaw...lol.

Long time ago, I had some major sensitivity when I bit down on the one side. Perhaps the crown was too high. Then, the pain went away. Only recently I asked my general dentist about a wiggle in that took. The xray revealed was going on.

It wasn't until testing was done on the tooth that pain and symptoms really started up such as sensations throughout gum, swelling in cheek and nasal issues. Then a pimple formed on my gum (I believe it drained a bit). Pain in cheek/nasal gone but the sensations are now in my gums/teeth and headaches.

I put a call into triage. My PA said no metal but root canals, zirconium and extractions were fine; I just needed to be sure any work was performed on a "on" week.

I did ask for a dentist referral; the referrals they provided weren't biological/holistic. So, I am doing my own research. I know I need to move forward with this sooner than later. In the meantime, I am going to ask the tooth fairy to share some of her teeth with me.

Please do see a biological dentist. I found one near me and had all my amalgams replaced this summer.

I was very nervous and worried, but I did fine and the dentist was very patient and kind. I love my dentist. I don't want to go to a regular dentist again. My dentist only does cavitation surgery in his NY office because he doesn't have the equipment in this office. He told me he's planning to buy a cone beam and get equipped to do surgery here. Hopefully by the time he does I'll be able to afford the cone beam scan. It's $400-$500. I haven't had the scan. He told me he didn't think I had any cavitations based on my xrays, but I'd read you can't tell from xrays.

I am up in NH. Do you mind sharing the first initial of your dentist's last name? NY is doable. Did you have the cavitation surgery done in the middle of your Lyme treatment?

P in SC. The NY office he works at belongs to another biological dentist - Dr GC. That dentist has been around a long time but has decidedly mixed reviews online, which I find disturbing.

Not sure how much experience Dr P has with cavitation surgery, but you could call his office and find out.

I did NOT have any surgery - only amalgam removal.

See if anyone else who had cavitation surgery is near you and if they recommend their surgeon.

Find a biological dds that uses PRP. If you can get a cavitat scan also might be helpful-cone beam can miss some cavitations. You might as well do all at once.
I flew to Phoenix and had Margolsis do my cavitation work.

I am definitely looking for a bio dentist who includes prf and ozone. As magoo has said in previous dental threads, I am going to hit it with everything I can. All of you thanks for your bio dentist recs. I think I may have found a clinic that fits the bill in Groton, Ma.

I did read up on yours, Goshawk. I love he went from general dentistry to holistic because of answers he couldn't explain by traditional methods.

I looked for your last posts. You posted one mention after this that you had to wait 3 weeks for the dentist. Did you have cavitation surgery? What effects did it have? Were you happy with the biological dentist who did the work?
