Eliminate any foods you are allergic or sensitive to.

I have found that limiting cooking with oil or fat is best. Instead use water, bake, or steam. I occasionally cook with organic unrefined coconut oil because it can take some heat but even then it has a little downside.

I also find that it's best to cook your food, allow it to cool for 5 or 10 minutes, and then add the oil that way the oil is not compromised by heat.

Organic will make it easier for your body by decreasing toxins.

Sweet potatoes have a good amount of fiber, vitamins, minerals, and stabilize blood sugar, boost brain function, enhance immunity, promote vision health, and even aid in weight loss.

BAKED SWEET POTATOES

4 jewel sweet potatoes
1 tsp organic unrefined coconut oil
cinnamon, to taste

1. Preheat oven to 400 and cook for about 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes for medium potatoes.
2. Rinse potatoes and place on a cookie sheet.
3. Turn them over 1/2 way through cooking.
4. To test for doneness, squeeze the sides of the potatoes to see if they go in like a pillow or stick a fork in them easily.
5. Allow to cool some and then add cinnamon and about 1 tsp organic unrefined coconut oil.

There's no way I could make the second recipe, unless I preemptively called the ambulance while plating the first serving. By the time the medics arrive, I would just be shoveling the last portion down the hatch. Then, they could take me to the Emergency Room and treat me for my gluttony...and, indigestion.
