So I know there's a lot of lyme patients over the years that swear by rife machines, even have mentioned how a TENS Unit could possibly be beneficial for lyme disease.
I have an
open mind about
this stuff, but I tend to not solely count on one single type of treatment to treat lyme, as does many LLMDs. I think a good Doctor incorporates many different supplements and alternative treatments in order to treat this disease. I just think it's when some Doctors and many authors that write books embellish a particular treatment, claiming it's a cure, then in return take advantage of patients with outrageous outrageous prices.
If you've been dealing with chronic lyme for quite awhile, you're aware that not all Doctors are created equal and have different protocols that treat this disease. Dr. H uses stevia and oregano oil for biofilms, while Dr. J uses Lactoferrin and Xylitol for biofilms. Some LLMDs even use hyperbaric oxygen therapy, while some even use hyperthermia therapy like over in Germany.
So lately I've plateau'd and been willing to try different herbs with biofilm busters, even antiparasitic herbs and have had some success, like even essential oils, while being properly diluted. Because as a recent John Hopkins showed, there's a few essential oils that work really well against persister cells: 3 good ones are oregano oil, cinnamon bark, and clove.
While the science is kind of sketchy on rife machines and TENS Until, do electronmagentic impulses and frequencies to kill off bacteria? I thought I'd try something...
I took my tens unit, put the two pads in
locations where borrelia seem to have settled on my body. I go by where arthritis and inflammation used to be, for me this meant my ankles, knees, wrists and hands. Remind you, these are no longer my problem areas, I don't have arthritis, inflammation or pain anymore. But I've theorized that this is likely the
locations where the persister cells still thrive and keep me relapsing. So I took some oregano oil, stevia, did 4 or 5 rounds of the TENs unit in different
locations and waited.
Without a doubt, my body felt lighter, I got more energy and felt all around better. I also noticed some herxing as well, but I've only been doing this for a few days. I'm going to try it longterm.
I'm very skpetic that something like this could be effective. It might not even been that electromagnetic jolts to the tends muscle, tendons, and tissue where borrelia seems thrive, could be killing the bacteria, it could just be aggravating the bacteria, making it move out of biofilms(I've heard frequencies are how bacteria communicate) or even bring blood to these
locations... Meaning the antibacterial herbs, antibiotics, biofilm busters you are taking could help focus these antibacterial compounds to these
locations in your blood supply.
Those that tried working out after taking antibiotics, ever notice how they seems to work better? It's because it's allowing these drugs to circulate in the body better. Just like how warming up your body in the bath tub, could allow antibiotic to penetrate tissue better, overall making them work better.
Anyways, I'd give it a try, a TENS unit costs nothing. It also made my muscles and body feel great afterwards...
By the way, I remember reading this article last year how scientists used electromagnetic waves to break up the biofilms on prosthetic limbs, in order to kill the bacteria that settled there... Very interesting article!

Dr. David Greenberg, left, and Dr. Rajiv Chopra have shown that a coil magnet wrapped around a prosthetic knee can destroy bacterial biofilm on the artificial knee.
If you try this, start off slow, especially if you're in early stages of treatment, don't want anyone to have anyone to have some scary herxing. I know everyone's body is different, take care!
