Ya I wasn't too sure about it at first since I wasn't having a big reaction, until I started noticing I was having more good days. Still can't eat much at a time without feeling sick. Thank goodness for queasy drops!
-side note @ Girlie--How's your cat?
lol - I don't remember what all I said.
She had surgery to remove the malignant tumor off of her toe. The pathology report said that the Vet didn't get clear margins....and it looked like it was a cancer that would be metastatic.
Soooo.....she wore the cone of shame for a couple weeks. We had a few hiccups...as I removed it for periods of time and one time she pulled off the bandage and was gnawing away at her incision site.
I re-bandaged it up using what I had in our first aid kit...lol...with her struggling to get away from me...I managed to do a pretty good job.
She has since had the stitches removed...and is a happy kitty again. I am giving her lots of love...lots of snuggles and trying not to think about
the tumor growing back...as I know the next step once it grows back is removal of her toe (and stitching her toes on either side together) or if it's spread past the toe...then the option is removing her leg at the shoulder.
We have decided we won't do the latter...as she is 16 in May.....and I don't think she'd do well with one less leg.
So we are treating her like a Queen and enjoying each day with her.
