Tips on swallowing capsules

I have never had trouble taking tablets/capsules, but recently feel like things are not traveling along my lower esophagus as smoothly as before. I notice the feeling longer, even after swigging most of a bottle of water. Barring narrowing of my esophagus, or something worrisome like that, does anyone have a similar experience and can offer a tip for me? I've been taking lots of supplements for years, so it's not a volume issue. I thought it might have to do with lighter herbal materials in the capsules than vitamins, but I haven't figured it out for sure.

When I first got lyme symptoms I had a sensation of a lump in my throat and when I swallowed certainl foods and supplements it felt like things were getting stuck and it felt like the pills were scratching my throat on the way down.

I was checked out via barium swallow X-ray (yuck) and then an ENT dr did a test - with a scope to check it out.

It went away with time and treatment.

I think it was a nerve issue - one of the cranial nerves. (9th?)

Ugh I have this, too. Sometimes, usually at night, I cant even swallow at all without a ton of effort.

Not happy to hear it's a cranial nerve. Just hoping to avoid major neuro stuff :-/

Oh no, I know I have neuro symptoms. My legs are currently twitching as I type this. I just don't want to have to worry about Bell's palsy

I have that off and on, less now since Infusio. In the early days I would always take a teaspoon of coconut oil before my pills. That helps. Make sure to stay hydrated too. I decided it was a result of my digestion cause inflammation all the way up.
