How to space and take rifabutin and minocycline?

You don't need to have a space between Rifabutin and minocycline that I know of.

But, I take Rifabutin on an empty stomach (I know Rifampin should be...not actually sure if Rifabutin has to be)

So, I will take Rifabutin at 8:00 a.m. and then wait 45 minutes or so and eat breakfast...then take the minocycline...as It is rough for me on empty stomach.

I don't know about taking both Rifabutins as one dose. I know some LLMD's do the one dosing for Rifampin - but I don't know about Rifabutin - maybe it can be, too?

Dr. J prescribes the Rifabutin to be taken as two doses.

Well, I'm not sure. I get hit hard with the Dapsone/Daraprim/Rifabutin/Ceftin week...and then I follow it up with the second week of 3 days of Rifabutin, Clindamycin and minocycline.

It feels like I've been run over by a truck....not sure if it's the Dapsone...or Daraprim...or Rifabutin...or all three.

Yes you can take both together in fact most abx are best on empty stomach but most folks can't tolerate that.
