I think I’ve read on this forum that Cistus Tea is good for dissolving biofilms.
I take xylitol and lactoferrin - my LLMD has see results with that duo.
https://klinghardtinstitute.com/lyme-disease/dr-klinghardt-biological-lyme-protocol/https://www.healingwell.com/community/default.aspx?f=30&m=2546544Cistus Tea tends to be from the Dr. K side of treatment, which some of his treatments tend to be very controversial without major studies backing them, but here is a study on Cistus Tea and biofilms
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18468764 This study was initially on traditional bacterial biofilms, not spirochete biofilms...
Through my own experience dealing with this disease for almost a decade now, give a herb a try, if you don't feel anything like a herx in the next few days, drop it, then keep testing and search for a protocol that works for you. Everybody's body is different, along with the coinfections and strain of borrelia you might have contracted. But you should pair a biofilm buster with a persister cell antibiotic or another biofilm buster/round body form antibiotic like Flagyl/Tindamax or you may not feel anything....
Personally I think Dr. K bases a lot of his treatment protocols on his own theories, and not enough on studies and science related to Lyme Disease. I wonder if that guy has adapted to using Stevia or any of the essential oils revealed to kill of borrelia persister cells through the John Hopkins study, or if he's still in the same method of using just parasites protocols and blocking off electromagnetic radiation by covering your home in EMF shielding paint? I think there's even stubbornness coming from the alternative side of treatment not willing to adapt to recent findings.... Funny thing is, some of these other alternative camps say Stevia doesn't work on biofilms, interesting, considering most of them use herbs throughout the years...
http://www.klinghardtacademy.com/images/stories/event/emf_products_%26_recipe_klinghardts_2013_10.pdfAgain go with what's being used by the top LLMDs and backed by recent Lyme studies... This is the group that has been leading the game in Chronic Lyme since the beginning!

It does seem like Dr. has adapted using Sweet Stevie, some brand stevia I hadn't heard of in the UK... Wonder who owns kiscience.com?
https://klinghardtinstitute.com/lyme-disease/dr-klinghardt-biological-lyme-protocol/ Some of those other supplements he's mentioned, I haven't heard of being used on biofilms... Hyaluronic Acid?
Ummm, yeah, highly doubtful!

Hyaluronic Acid teases microbes out of protected hiding places; nutrient for joints and connective tissue. The Ki-Science product has the exact Dalton molecular size for complete sublingual uptake. Take 3
Ki Science? So this means it's backed by science because the company has science in the title? Bit manipulative?
But hey, I like the dude because he thinks out of the box and he has been right on some of the antiparasitic drugs working on Chronic Lyme, but some of the stuff he uses is wishy washy, be aware of that. I'm always skeptic of a Doctor that pushes his own supplement line, because right off the bat he has conflicts of interest what works and what doesn't due to financial interest. Remember, that's what corrupted the CDC, it can corrupt any human being on the planet!
I'll second Dr. H, how I've learned he's promoting Cowden's Nutramedix overpriced supplements, the SweatLeaf Whole Leaf brand of Stevia for $10 will work just find, that's what the study was originally based on by Dr. Sapi. And that's another thing, don't get sucked in to having to buy top dollar supplements, research a good concentrated brand or product and you'll be fine! I think Lyme patients have been getting taken for for a long time with the whole TOA free Samento conjecture, that was being repeated for a long time until I think Stephen Buhner stepped in and said traditional Cats Claw will work just fine. Always interesting how fads come and go within the Lyme community... But hey, we're all looking for a new protocol to try aren't we, lol....
