Hello, I am new to the site, recently diagnosed, but seriously ill for the last 23 years.
Now that I have a name for the illness, I have been looking into treatment centers. I
am wondering if anyone has researched or visited Envita: Personalized Lyme Treatment
Center?

If my memory serves me - there are mixed reviews - I do remember some “not so good” ones.

Welcome to the forum AKDeb! I think there might be a few archived threads on Envita, if you use the search bar and look up envita you should be able to find a few testimonials. Personally I think if one has the resources they are better spent seeing a well-regarded llmd who can tailor treatments to one's particular situation. I'm a bit leery of the treatment clinics, bit of a cookie cutter approach and often too short term in their treatment scope imo. Plus I think they really blast you with abx in a short timeframe, for those who have herx issues it might be risky to undergo such aggressive therapies. But that said, they have helped some people and I think they are hit or miss, which is true with many of the practitioners as well.

Thank you Sebreg! So nice to talk with someone who know's what's going on and is familiar with the modalities.
I'm not looking for antibiotics, I already know that's not something I can tolerate. Thanks for your advice on the
treatment centers, that makes sense.

You're welcome! oh yeah, if you don't want abx then Envita is not the place to go if memory serves that is one of their primary treatment methods. Are you considering herbal treatment approaches? if so Stephen Buhner is a great resource, his website has the basic protocols and his books have extended protocols and a lot of in depth information. You could also connect with an herbalist who is familiar with his protocols. Or you could try and find an LLND (lyme literate naturopath) who uses herbals and other modalities. Different things work for different people, and there are a lot of angles to work as well: infections, thyroid, adrenals, diet, metals, parasites, viruses, mold, etc. Each person has a different set of factors and conditions at play contributing to their health issues.

Thank you sebreg for all the great info. Wow, so nice to talk to someone who "gets it."
I am seeing someone now who is addressing many of the things you just named. The
more I read about this disease and the treatment options, the more I appreciate my
current doc. She doesn't treat Lyme disease per se, but she treats the whole body holistically,
which would be my choice.

You should check out the Hansa Centre - as they treat more holistically. (Since you’re not wanting to do abx focussed treatment)
