NP's at the J Clinic

I'm posting on behalf of someone else.

Do you know which NP's are knowledgeable with setting up, administering IV abx?

I've seen a RM mentioned here....and there's also a NP who has her own practice. Are her initials AW?

This person is set up with KF in March, but would like the IV abx started before then...and KF isn't available.

I'm thinking the others' probably aren't available either...anyway....

Wouldn't a call to the clinic be the best way to answer the question?

AW has her own practice, but it's not a primary care clinic and she's the only employee. However, she's a PA-C (Physician Assistant - Certified), so I would imagine venipuncture is part of her training.

Yes - usually....but communicating via phone call with the front desk...is a challenge sometimes (that's putting it 'nicely') and having a personal rec and then calling to schedule with her would be less hassle...I think.

AW used to split her time between her own practice and Dr. J's. I wonder if she's still with Dr. J??

Ah, I see. I haven't heard of her leaving -- and, she's still listed on the clinic's website -- so, I think she's still working with them.
