Another round of Mepron?

My symptoms and my lab results point toward Babesia being my main issue. So last year I did about five months of Mepron in combination with Zithro or Biaxin. Also added in Clindamycin sometimes. And several rounds of Alinia. I feel like we tried to hit the Babesia hard, but my symptoms are still here.
Can Babesia really survive all that? Should I try another round?

I did 1 tsp 2x a day for five or six months. Plus the other Babesia drugs. I was very disappointed I didn't see much progress. Thinking about trying it again. But Mepron sucks! And I have a hard time believing that another round would be any different than the first. Guess I'm kinda losing faith in the whole world of Lyme Docs. I mean, regular docs treat Babesia for like 10 days. I did months without progress. Sometimes this whole idea of heavy doses of strong drugs for extended periods of times seems totally crazy. But what else can we do?

Dr J says Babesia is usually what is holding people back from healing and that’s why he tackles it first after the patient stabilizes (correcting sleep, pain, etc issues)

I only did it for about 5 months but it was double dose of what most llmd’s prescribe.
I know several of his patients who have treated or are currently treating Babs and it’s over 7 months.

I would have to check my records to see which specific test. But I took some kind of test and it came back positive for Babesia. So five or six months of Mepron, then sweet Annie and cryptolepis for another six months. I just can't seem to get my energy back. My air hunger issues have improved some, but still a problem. Seven months! That's a long time.

I treated babs first for 4.5 months in my first year, then went after Bart (stalled out and stopped due to elevated AST/ALT), then started IV Rocephin and month later phased in Mepron again for another year (even went to double dose, and tried Coartem a few times. My LLMD thought we were fighting a Mepron resistant strain of Babs. Added in Crypto, Sida, etc. to no avail. Then went back after Bart and broke through my 50% plateau and improved to 85% only to relapse after weaning off ABX for 3 months.

Its a nasty battle. A lot of Sx overlap. Try something different.
