Has anyone found relief for burning feet. This is a symptom I’ve had on and off. However, since I’ve gone back on treatment it has been exacerbated.

A lot of foot sole issues are symptoms of bartonella. If you are successfully treating the infection that's causing the pain, then it makes sense that the symptom would flare as you herx. I would start or increase magnesium and turmeric to soothe nerves and inflammation. Burning pain is soothed by spearmint essential oil, I have read, but have not tried this one. Hope you get more replies!

Sounds like nerve pain in your feet.

Feet issues and nerve issues - sounds like Bartonella.

When you write "burning feet," is it as if they feel hot (like hotter than other body parts) or more like it's inside in the nerves? Not questioning the symptom but to get a better understanding.

I’ve been at this over 10 years. This has never been a major symptom and has only recently become noticeable and now an irritant. Could Bart be hiding all this time? Not doctor has ever suspected.

Running wild, it is a cross between heat and pins and needles. Nerve I’m sure.

I have had that feeling in my feet but on the pins and needles side. My toes and front of my feet by the toes can hurt. Also have had burning skin but mainly in face and, sometimes, ears. The burning and tingling are not as bad now, but other symptoms have moved to forefront, mainly digestive - nausea, bloating, dizziness, etc...

As Girlie wrote, the feet sound like Bartonella issues, but I'm totally confused on what is what anymore. But at least you know many others have had that symptom so it seems to be related to Lyme or co-infections.

Purple Tulip, I am curious what you mean about being on a different page from others on the forum. I am sorry to hear that it hasn't always been helpful for you. I saw you tried the Rawls Vital Plan, which I am considering since they removed some ingredients I react poorly to. Is it possible to message me directly? I think this forum is great, but I do marvel at how many of us are on very different paths, relying on different underlying philosophies!

My feet feel like that, especially in the morning or if I've been resting for a long time. My LLMD has felt certain that it's bartonella, for me. I think bartonella could have hidden all this time for you. These are such sneaky, nasty bugs!

Have you not treated Bart before?

There’s so much overlap with symptoms - so it’s very likely it’s bart - especially if you have plateaued in treatment (not sure this is the case?)

Some people on the forum have known me for years. I was diagnosed in 2006 after struggling to find a diagnosis.
I’ve done the gamet. IV picc oral antibiotics Buhner then Rawls, Etc.
I had some years in there in remission. But after going through the change, I got quite sick again. My doc tried putting me on abx, but after 6 months with no change (Ispot Lyme test) I went all natural. I also did uvbi which pushed it back and Dr Rawls vital plan took it from there (22 months).
This last year I moved to Pittsburgh and between the transition and climate it has reared it ugly head again.

On the forum I have asked questions that don’t draw interest. I assume because I am not on enough or my “chronic” perspective is different. No worries.

I am currently doing a alternative treatment ozone (oxygen with an extra molecule 03) plus uvbi. It kicks hard since it breaks up bio film. Now the feet issue.

Girlie, BART was never suspected. I don’t believe I was ever tested.

I don't know how to alleviate it, but I have tenderness on the soles of my feet upon waking and sometimes that icy hot burning feeling that is almost pins and needles-y, yes a nerve sensation. I keep hearing this is a sign of Bartonella.

We're really not all that different, actually if we all unite we could find some collective relief... hopefully ...eventually.

Our symptoms are really very similar, you can track it down the list of Lyme nCos, TBIs, MSIDS complex...

If you read enough you will see a large similarity, plenty of overlap in symptoms, treatments, like...the sum of our anecdotes is greater than its individual story parts.

It's a wicked problem made more difficult. Like what happens when, almost invariably, a nasty tick transmits malaria-like diseases and blood cell infections at the same time as the already debilitatingly usual Borrelia???

I'm sorry about you not getting responses from forum members in the past....

If I were you, I'd look into bart treatment...What about Babesia? Have you ever treated that? (Sorry, if you said but I missed it)
