Thank you for the replies. Sandyfeet and Lapis, do you recommend any other natural binders? Is there a good brand or place online i can get chlorophyll? Do you think chlorophyll is the best natural binder that actually binds to mold toxins similar to the prescriptions shoemaker uses? Thanks you guys and aoeey for the bundle of questions

My doctor recommended modified citrus pectin and activated charcoal. I take Pectasol-C. I have never noticed instant relief from taking it, but did have to ramp up slowly.

I tried cholestyramine in the beginning but had horrible worsening of symptoms with it, as it moves a lot of toxins quickly. I really need to go back to it again and take lower doses

The doctor also put me on liposomal glutathione (Readisorb), which I still take -3 tsp.

I remember reading on survivingmold.com which binder to use for different mycotoxins, but alas, I can't find the article now.. It would be the best to get tested and see what mycotoxins you're dealing with. I'm not sure, gliotoxin should be from black mold that you're mentioning?

I think it's also very important to avoid gluten. It is highly inflammatory to individuals sensitive to mold. I feel significantly worse if I "fall off the wagon" and start eating pizza and bread. I think grains in general and processed sugar are best avoided.
I also don't react well to coffee, which I thought was due to caffeine, but coffee is actually often contaminated with mold, and I think that's what's causing my heart palpitations, I am litterally poisoning myself and adding to the toxic load that is already overwhelming to my body. Grains and nuts are commonly contaminated with mold, it's something worth looking into (peanuts, cocoa etc).

Recently I read how beneficial the sunshine is to people suffering from mold illness. Get as much sunshine as you can. Vitamin D also combats mold (this seems quite logical to me), apparently blue light is anti-inflammatory and sweating is great for detox. I hope you can tolerate the heat. Use the sauna if you can (IR sauna and traditional sauna are two very different things to me).

Modified citrus pectin is working for me, but I am so toxic that I only take it every 2-3 days, as I feel a lot worse after taking it. I also take curcumin and fish oil with it, and other supplements.
I used many different binders over the last year, and probably all have helped with different toxins.

Hi, and welcome! So sorry you’re dealing with this. Sounds like this was an isolated rather than ongoing exposure.

I have psych symptoms and jerks occasionally, but I can’t remember if it was specifically related to mold exposure.

Out of all the supplements I have tried, TUDCA Plus has had the most positive effect on my symptoms. It reduced my long term mold and chemical sensitivities and pain.

Out of the binders I have taken, Zeobind seemed to noticeably help symptoms for about 2 weeks. Then symptoms returned.
