Seems like all the literature I read the general consensus is milk thistle is supportive for liver as a supplement and in some cases can lower mildly elevated liver enzymes and help liver cells rejuvenate and regenerate. I noticed when I'm significantly herxing that there is some tenderness in my liver just below the rib cage on the right.
Anyone know or have suggestions for the therapeutic dose of milk thistle I realize that there is a suggested dose on the bottle but that is not necessarily always the therapeutic requirement for someone with chronic illness? Thanks

I took the milk thistle only once per day....2 capsules.
I think mine are 250 mg per capsule.
I really liked the Pekana Apo-Hepat - but it's not sold on Amazon.

It’s pretty much a staple in the ACC protocol. I take 150mg 4 times per day.
Some people do not tolerate it well and should be ramped up. I think it gives them gut issues.
Goal is to be sure your stools are brown insuring your liver is pushing out bile daily
This is just one used with these others for liver support.

I’ve been taking 100mg twice daily since October but am now also dealing with Uterian Fibroids which are said to be due to too much estrogen. This worries me since it’s said that Super Milk Thisle can mimic estrogen. Is there any truth to this?

FWIW I would not take bile unless you know you're deficient or your gall bladder is missing. I have a bad reaction every time I take it. Milk thistle can be estrogenic yes, that's why I had to stop taking it.

Have these milk thistle results been diagnostically quantifiable for individuals? I keep finding literature that says that it is estrogenic but its ability to increase the liver's capacity to remove estrogen exceeds the amount of estrogen it adds. (Add one remove two).

PS was anybody with milk thistle concerns on estrogen taking any other estrogen metabolism modulators ie DIM, calcium d glucarate, maca, sulphuraphane, boron, etc.

Yeah theoretically the estrogen would be removed more efficiently with the milk thistle so it would neutralize the estrogenic effects. It didn't seem to work that way for me though.
Boron modulates estrogen? Hmm that is news to me. I do take boron but not for that reason. I take it for histamine issues and it's supposed to be missing from our soil.
