I have searched and searched for an answer to this question. I cannot find anything regarding the outcome.
I'm not looking for anyone to say pull it or don't pull it. Just wondering if there was success or have you heard/read success stories?
Here's the reason I'm considering this:
august 2010, 1st & only root canal done. The following years I had pain off/on (not severe but annoying and I should've gone back for it). Fast forward to March 2017 (unsure of exact date) I woke up with "weak-ish" left hand and has been like this ever since along w/other symptoms that come & go. However, the left hand/arm has been consistent w/some days better than others but never good. April of 2017 the tooth went to excruciating pain. Went to dentist/had x-ray done(don't know what they saw). Was going to "think" about it overnight before having extracted. Literally, (& I'm not kidding) the pain stopped overnight like a switch was flipped and it hasn't hurt since. But now that I've been thinking about it, it is temp sensitive BUT(!) this sensitivity if off/on. Very weird. It'll go a few days where it temp makes it hurt, then the next day-nothing. Zip, zilch nadda. When it hurts tho, it smarts enough to make my eye lid squint a little.
For the record, not sure I have lyme but many symptoms point to it. I've had two negative western's. Will be seeing an LLMD next week. I have many questions for him. This is after going to Dr.s who are angling me toward ALS. I was having speech issues along with weak hand/arm but speech has improved immensely the last month or so. Twitches, which were very bothersome have all but disappeared to a point where what does happen I would call normal. Only happen for very short period (minimally) once I relax if they happen at all. I've been on the whole 30 diet for almost 3 months now. I swear it's a miracle on its own. There is much to this but I'll stop here and check back tomorrow. Thanks (anyone) for your time.
Hi Shane!
Did you have the WB’s done at Igenex Lab? (If not - what lab?)
And we’re there any bands positive or Indeterminate?
If so - which ones.
Since you’ve had improvements of symptoms - your Dr can cross ALS off the list - as you don’t improve - only decline with ALS.
Since you’re having trouble with the root canal - it might be a good idea to remove it after all.
Edit: I re-read your post - you didn’t want anyone to say remove it or not... lol. ...just saying if it’s been bothering you..........
