Sources of mycotox?

Hi,

I did the https://www.greatplainslaboratory.com/gplmycotox test and was found high in several: Aspergillus Ochratoxin A; Penicillin Mycophenolic Acid; Fusarium Zearalenone; Multiple Mold Species Citrinin (very high).

Most of these crush you immune system, so that makes sense as to why I may not be fighting off the lyme?

I've tested my house and it has passed ERMI. I'm going to retest just in case.

Most of these toxins seem related to grains. I don't eat grains because I'm low carb/keto (T2) and gluten intolerant (tested).

So I'm confused as to the source of these toxins.

It must be from my food? I eat a lot of veg, fats, eggs, cheese, nuts, meats, coffee, wine.

I don't go out of my way to eat organic/grain fed, but I'm thinking that might be necessary.

Or it could be hanging around from past exposure, but I did Cholestyramine for two months.

Any thoughts?

Im not sure how much 2 months of Cholestyramine lowers your levels, but I did the same test and got high in 3 different mycotoxins.

My mold exposure is from 5 years ago and before I did the test I had been doing IR sauna for almost 2 years and a few months with different binders.
It can take a long time to get your levels down.
Specially if you still get exposed to it, but maybe from work or some other area where you spend a lot of time.

But you can also get it from diet, so decreasing food that is high in mold is good.

High levels of mold makes it very hard to get better from lyme, so yes you need to work on mold first/also.

no one really knows if these tests really say anything.

A healthy person may be shedding lots of mycotoxins and feel perfeclty fine, a sick person may shed less and feel awful.

I would look in your environment. Your house, your work place, mainly. Look for damp areas and musty smells. If it smells musty, its mold 100% of the time.

Chloropyll is the best mycotoxin binder I have used.

I'm not sure either...I tested high for aspergillus and candda but that was years ago, and I don't seem to have visible mold in my house. Either way we can't get it removed :/ But if the tests aren't accurate then who knows. My old LLMD says we all have some mold. How high off the scale is it?My highest was 8 for candida when it should've been between 0-2 so I don't know how bad that is. Couldn't eat any healthier though. And 5 for a. niger with the same range

Oh, apparently there is some petri dish test you can do in each room of your house to locate the mold but I haven't looked into it. But I think there is some degree of mold in most relatively old homes, like 1990s and previous
