Dissociative symptoms from Japanese Knotweed?

Does anyone else get dissociative symptoms from Japanese Knotweed?

I believe I have Bart and possibly others. I started taking JK and felt an immediate worsening of my depersonalization. The obvious reason is resveratrol's effect on the NMDA receptor, but are there any other possibilities? Any other experiences? Thank you very much

I've never heard of that, did you have any other symptoms?

My guess is JK because part is an herb in Buhner's bart protocol...so its 'hitting' bart...which would increase those symptoms temporarily (ie herx)

Thanks Girlie. I was under the impression from reading the book that Bart did not cause much of a herx, or is it different for everyone?

I don’t get that because those of us treating bart do indeed herx.
So I don’t understand why Buhner would write that.
I don’t remember reading it in his book - but it’s been a few years since I read it.
And even my LLMD said he thought my severe reaction to my persisters/bart protocol was a Bartonella herx. (not a medication side effect which I originally thought)
And it seems to be true - as each cycle my symptoms weren’t as severe as the previous one.
