I am looking to find, if any precautions are suggested when diagnosed with Cronic Lyme?
Can Lyme be spread through giving blood?
Breastfeeding?
Sexual transmission? Spouse concerns?
Blood spill warnings?
Dental precautions?
Do you know a good article covering all this?

These are my thoughts;


Can Lyme be spread through giving blood? Yes
Breastfeeding? Possibly
Sexual transmission? Spouse concerns? Yes
Blood spill warnings? Only if you have an open cut/sore
Dental precautions?
Do you know a good article covering all this?

I’ve read different articles over the years...but don’t have any to share.

Also during pregnancy mother to baby transmission. Llmd’s recommend that mother takes abx during pregnancy if mom has active lyme. And get the cord tested after birth.

watch under our skin 1 and 2 , and read buhner books on bartonella and babesia because lymes" never travels alone . Welcome, sorry they lied to you for this long.... oh read all of lymenet flash ( there are links and papers on transmission there )

Thank you for the great feedback! It seems difficult to find a credible site for information. I did visit lymenet flash. Here I find it says “ Lymes Does not spread from one person to another” I will look at the other information shared as well.

I don't believe that. Lyme is a corkscrew bacteria - similar to syphillis.

Many LLMD's do think it can be sexually transmitted.

Also worth noting that lots of co-infections are easy to spread among people, like mycoplasma and EBV. Borrelia can be spread my multiple species of mosquitos and mites, too. While ticks are major vectors for this stuff, the focus on tick bites as the route of Lyme transmission is, from what I have read, far too narrow.

Yes that’s true not just getting these diseases from ticks.
Another one is fleas.... ie Bartonella.

Bart is from fleas? That explains a lot. I must have gotten that when I was a kid. My dog was a major flea hoarder.
