Goggle a paleo food list. or whole foods list. Think of what a US farmer grew 100 years ago to feed the family. There realy is only so much basic healthy food. But you can combine it, which takes more time. There are some pretty healthy spices to if you avoid the chemical packed ones.
There are many health diets, and many posts asking this same question.
There is not a specific lyme diet, only food that your body agrees with most. This is something that is learned, and to be more accurate, tested. After guessing for years, I thoroughly tested how foods react with my immune system/blood..(cytokin release). I did not know that existed and was well worth the $350 -400 (for me). I learned I have no problem with eggs, and boil them on Sunday nights for morning snacks that week. I dont have a full blown "breakfast". I also have no issue with nuts, although costly, I snack on them a lot and had additional oxalate testing to confirm its "OK". I eat a lot of blueberries too.
For starters a whole foods approach, which means just that.....food in its most simple form, by itself. No "casseroles", mid west "hot dishes", southern "Jambalaya" ect. No pasta. No junk food. No added sugar other than whats already in fruit. I eat a lot of blueberries too.
Basic veggies like green beans. For meat, basic un-coated chicken breast cooked on a Gearge Forman type Indoor electric "clam" type grill is very easy to use.
In place of pasta "fillers" I eat rice (tested OK), which for some reason is not considered Paleo.
You cant be lazy with this, start small and learn.
Need to set aside cooking / meal prep time.
Whole food eating is the easiest form of making your own meals. Factory prepared food, and some restaurant food just decrease health in anyone who consumes it, it promotes inflammation.
I had gut issues for years with lyme, autoimmune, candida and sibo. Clean eating (low inflammation for MY body), is helping my autoimmune (per feel and lab tests) and dissolved a ten year long tumor per imaging. Gluten was a big one for me, which took some learning. American "social eating" is "deep" into gluten - junk food, pasta and beer - the original recipe for obese drunk diabetics. That said, I do miss pizza and beer, but the health benefits of avoiding these now is more obvious. I just tell myself Im eating like my ancestors did 100-150 years ago, well, better than they did actually. Only down fall is its more costly than a junk food diet. You'll live longer too, which is more costly!
