I believe, Girlie, yours will bounce back higher again. It sure seems the treatment is what is causing numbers to be less than before. And I understand why you are frustrated with the level of activity you used to have. The only difference between us is I don't think I've lost muscle but all sub-cutaneous fat. That makes everything look like it's gone. It creates knobby knees and elbows, skinny ankles, protruding rib look. Also, neck is skinny and all around shoulders in neck area.
I try to do all I can with pushups, curls, lat pulls, stair repeats, etc... But with loss of energy and pain in rotator cuff and low back, I have to limit a lot of exercise. Trying to adapt to this type of life, but not doing well with it.
I'm insecure about
the looks....(I inherited vanity from my mother - who was a beautiful woman) - my husband has always loved my muscular legs/butt.....so I am feeling insecure...can't help it. I know it shouldn't matter as much as it does....
In fact I may post in a new thread about
my insecurities....I doubt I'm the only one that feels that way.
I think in some ways it'd be easier to be single...at least you don't worry about
losing someone.
I do more for the lower body now...as with my upper left side issues...I'm always concerned about
doing something that makes it worse...so I try to stick to the exercises the physio has suggested.
