First, i shout out and thanks to this forum because you helped me figure out years ago that all my issues were from undx'ed lyme and coninfections.
I have had symptoms of candida as well as parasites. I've been working with a great doc on the lyme, yeast and coninfections and feel I've made progress with the lyme, but have been completely unable to get rid of the parasites. I'm feeling at a loss.
Under my doctor's guidance, I've taken several rounds of RX medicine -alinia. albendazole, and prazi are the main 3 he has prescribed. He's prescribed it 5-10 times, and when I go back in and he checks me, I still have the parasites. Also, I can tell. The symptoms manifest as a pocket of bloating and gas in my lower left bowel. If I have a bowel movement and am able to pass them, or if I take an enema to help, I can see the parasites in the toilet.
7 weeks ago, I decided i needed to step up what I'm doing a notch. So I cut out any bad foods from my diet, and eat mostly fish, organic chicken, organic beef, vegetables, coconut milk yogurt, oat bran as the only carb, and a little pineapple but otherwise no fruit. Note- I did not give up coffee, and hope that's not a dealbreaker. I cut out alcohol entirely which I was drinking until recently. I also bought alinia, albendazole and ivermercin on AllDayChemist to try round 2, except on modified diet. As a note, I have already tried 6 weeks straight of these medicines (following Dr Klinghardt's protocol - I dropped the prazi because I couldn't get it). In the last 7 weeks, I take mimosa pudica every day (which I had started months ago), took ivermectin, and am now on alinia. I do 1-2 coffee enemas a week which really helps with teh symptoms- and I pass a ton of parasites. Sometimes I struggle to hold the enemas but I always try to do the full 10-15 mins. I also take Vit C, D, papaya seed, a leaky gut support, VSL3DS (probiotic), megasporebiotic, and i take digestive enzymes with every meal.
Despite all this, I can tell I still have parasites. I am literally at my wits end with this. I thought the issue was the alcohol I was drinkiing and some of the poor food choices I would have from time to time, but I've now cut that all out for almost 2 months and I still can't rid these buggers. What am I missing?
