parasites in liver and galbladder area

I'm suffering

Raised Alt
Raised eosinophils
Raised cholesterol
Antismoothmuscle muscle antibodies - often associated with hepatitis
And variable pancreatic elastase

I have

Variable, chronic to acute RHS abdo pain
Intermittent pale stools
And circulation, sinusitis, air hunger, sweating and swollen lymphatic in feet.

It all got worse following surgery and steroids (look up parasitic superinfection following immunosuppression)

Some of these symptoms improved on clarithromycin and rifampin treatment for bartonella which I have had (positive serology and clinical diagnosis - red striae very prominent) and now test negative for through Galaxy's triple draw ePCR. Look up rifampin and parasites.... Antibiotics effects are not always straight forward and active against bacteria alone.

With lyme you should consider Bart a differential diagnosis to parasites as it is notorious for liver/ spleen involvement and gastrointestinal issues.

I have responded very strongly to an extended high dose course of Alinia - this marked the switch from acute passing episodes of RHS pain to chronic pain which as of now I am interpreting as a blocked liver/ biliary tree due to the effects of the anti parasitic meds.

Many of these parasites are invisible on current imaging techniques like ultrasound or CT. if you are severely enough affected and the technician is experienced enough you might find them or evidence of them - eg dilated gallbladder ducts. Testing via stool analysis, blood and saliva serology and direct blood microscopy (for things like blood flukes) is available but as always described as woefully inaccurate by those in the know.

Lastly 40% of ticks investigated by Burgdorfer and Sapi contain nematode worms.

So if your symptoms aren't classic lyme and fail to respond to the usual antibiotics consider parasites.

Dr K of Under Our Skin has a good pharmaceutical parasite protocol. Have a hunt on the Internet and you will find it. Look well enough and you will find sources for the meds as well. CureZone has a good parasite discussion board.

Consider light liver flushes, coffee enemas and caster oil packs geared at flushing the liver/ gallbladder / biliary tree and getting rid of these parasites.

Herbal cleanses like humaworm and zappers maybe worth a go but its in this area that pharma products come into their own.

I thought about bartonella someone recommended that me to awhile ago when I was having gastro symptoms. Its still possible I do but I've also seen evidence recently of some type of worms and flukes from little red orangey pieces showing up sometimes. I feel hopeful about these herbs its just a long process with them.

I also ordered something called parazyte which has similar herbs but has some apple and berry extract mixed in it which seems like it might help digestion issues too. Also got a genova test coming through will be interesting to see if that shows anything, regardless sticking on the herbs for now but pharms could be a option later on too.

I drink lemon water sometimes too which I feel is like a small liver flush. Its helped with lyme and other symptoms before as well.

I remember having shellfish one xmas - it is a favorite here in Australia - xmas day is usually very warm. 6 weaks later i could feel pain in my gall bladder. I had a bioresonance test and I was told I had liver flukes they favor the bile duct.
I did the Dr Hulda Clarke cleanse with Black Walnut Hull, Wormwood and Cloves and the pain went after 2 months on it. It wasn't enough to kill them 6 weeks later the pain was there again. It took close to 6 months to test clear of them and they haven't come back but they were hard to get rid of.. I took the formula for 10 days on (full strength).and 5 days off.
I have.tried liver flushes and I felt wonderful after a series of them. But you should always get rid of the parsites first - according to the information I had. With parasites present liver, the flushes can make you feel terrible. It is best to get the bugs down otherwise it is very hard on the liver.

I just finished a book called "Accidental Blow Up in Medicine" My doc wrote it and he spends lot of time in the book talking about treating parasites.
Right now I am on three meds to treat a parasite in the gall bladder.
Plus gall bladder support and flushes in between cycles.
My only advice would be to work with a doc who treats parasites daily.
