parasite cleansing and my update and questions

hi all- going on SEVEN years of chronic lyme and co infections, and many thousands of dollars and many visits to different supposed healers and still fighting the fight.
So I just found a new LLND who is actually local to me and accepts my insurance and seems to be great- only had one appointment with her so far and am getting some testing done.
Prior to this I did 6 months of biomagnetic pair therapy which I thought was supposed to clear out all tick illnesses but I still feel terrible.
Symptoms: cant breathe, gripped up chest and diaphragm , severe belly distention beyond bloat, brain issues like diziness and swaying, ear issues, blurry vision, heart feels gripped up and tight like something is squeezing it all the time! and totally exhausted all the time and cant exercise dues to squeezed heart and breathing. ugh.

prior to this I did the hansa center a bunch of times- so expensive, gave me a little temporary relief but nothing permanent. Rest of the time its been me on my own with the internet tryign every herbal I could.
so now at least I am with a good llnd who can maybe help some.

so my next thing is I am doing a parasite cleanse- from the company microbe formulas. I will start it tomorrow.
Has anyone here had symptms significantly reduce form doign parasite cleaneses?

Then I have to figure out what co infections I have- I suspect babesia bartonella and mycoplasma- and try to at least get the symptoms down. Cant believe 7 years into this I am still so sick. Feels like the bacteria are just multiplying and I am getting worse! I Am ready to find the right protocol for me to maybe stay on to keep things at bay. I hope the parasite cleanse helpe with the severe distention and maybe some of the squeezing pressure.
Any advice for me on any of it, figuring out what co infecitons I have and treating them herbally? also have a lot of pressure in my ears and constant tinnitus. ugh.,

Sorry that you have not found an effective treatment to help your symptoms.
I am also sorry that we all have to reach toward any treatment that offers hope, unfortunately most are not helpful except at lightening our wallets and enriching others.
None of the herbals brought me relief, supportive -yes, but the first real relief came from the abx Doxy being foremost, but always relapse after some time period. Prolonging time to relapse is where the herbals help me the most.
It sounds like you have co-infections, babesia, probably bartonella (we all have bart).
Maybe time to baseline, no treatment and see where you are.

thank you for your reply. I forgot to mention that when I originally got the tick bite 7 yrs ago I first did three weeks of abx, and then it didnt work and ten I did 9 MONTH of abx- and anti whatever they put me on- didnt work-- went to hansa ctr- got somewhat better- spent too much, relapsed, etc. so yeah I have done the abx route too but would really like to not do that again if possible.

The two things that helped me the most were getting a caviat scan and cleaning out dental infection and aggressive parasites cleanses. My doc is very aggressive with parasite cleanse-it helped greatly. He uses combinations of meds-natural and homeopathics

I JUST started my parasite cleanse tonight. Can you tel me what symptoms you had that were helped and how by the parasite cleanse? I am starting with mimosa pudica- just took ONE tonight cause I react strongly to things- will work up to 4 per day- my new llnd thinks I may have mast cell which I am just starting to learn about and hopefully she can help with too---- nice to finally have a dr who knows more than I can get form the internet,.

Your symptoms sound like mold exposure. Have you done an ERMI or HERTSMI-2 test on your home or a mycotoxin urine test on your body from Great Plains Lab or Realtime Labs?

Has your home or workplace had any leaks, water intrusion, wood rot around doorframes, busted pipes, odd or stinky smells, an old roof, rotted eaves, water collecting near the foundation when it rains, visible mold, water stains anywhere, etc? Most people, including professionals, landlords, maintenance personnel, builders, renovators, homeowners, etc. don’t equate water incidences with mold.

Because mold is everywhere and water damage in buildings is not treated with the care and seriousness it should be, most people underestimate the health effects of mold and other inflammagens found in water damaged buildings. The growth often hides inside wall and ceiling cavities, behind or under appliances and flooring, in crawlspaces, attics, basements, and air conditioning systems and ducts.

From another perspective, are you saying in 7 years no doctor you have seen tested you for coinfections? What about Hansa? Don’t they do some kind of bioresonance scan? What did their testing reveal?

Its pretty crazy but I think the first doctors the first years tested me for co infection and then I just put my faith in hansa for years and didnt think I needed to test for them- figured the test were unreliable- I dont know- then recently I did magnet therapy and she uses kineseology and said I had bartonella babesia lyme and myco- which is what I think I do have--- but yeah, I am getting some blood tests tomorrow with my new llnd but not right now paying for the out of pocket igenex ones- I thikn I may have had some testing done early in the gane.
I thought I was so aggressive with treatment but I think I kind of missed a lot- and feel like I am totally starting over with the new llnd. In my defense no doctor near me had a clue- I went to dozens and they were clueless- this doctor I am seeing now is local but just new to my area. But yeah I dont know- I thought hansa was the best place because at first they got me better for a while-- so I thought I was ahead of the game- then I just dont know, I didnt really have anyone to help me-- it is all so chaotic but yeah 7 years of this -- my new llnd says she doesnt think the babesia tests are accurate ( maybe not even the self pay ones?) but is starting me with some basic bloodwork that my insurance covers. And we submitted a parasite test so we are starting with that.
I have this gripping squeezing all the time in my upper chest and diaphragm- anyone know what that could be? It makes it hard to breathe.

thankfully mold doesnt seem to be one of my issues though I know it is one for many. We dont have mold thankfully.
Really want to figure out what is causing me to have such a tight gripped up upper bronchials and diaphragm and distended belly. hoping the new llnd helps me figure it out- wont be quick though-- we are seeing eachother every two weeks for a bit so a lot of waiting.
in the mean time I want to get better but at least I have help now- hopefully she can figure this out--- what of it is lyme and co infections and what may be something else. I hope my parasite cleanse helps a lot. gah I need to get better now.

I’m so sorry for all you’re going through. Regular labs like Labcorp can be good for testing IGG and IGM titers for many bacteria and viruses. The ones most with Lyme or CIRS/mold are tested for include these a probably more. Hopefully others can add to this list.

Mycoplasma pneumonia
Chlamydia pneumonia
Epstein Barr Virus (EBV)
Cytomegalovirus (CMV)
Parvovirus 19
HHV6
Toxoplasma gondi (parasite) - blood test for antibodies
Candida albicans (yeast) - blood test for antibodies
Anti-gliadin antibodies - antibodies against gluten

I talk a lot about mold because it is a huge piece of my illness and also because it is so frequently overlooked. The tests I mentioned for mold and mycotoxins are the only ones the doctors go by, and they are the ones that have recognized correlations to health effects.

Mold inspections and various types of tests can be useful but often don’t find what is there. Then the person is told that mold is “within acceptable ranges,” when there really is no such thing.

I hope you get some accurate answers soon.

I just went back and scanned over the posts again and noticed mast cell was mentioned and being sensitive.

I probably have mast cell issues but haven’t treated that. I’m also very sensitive. I found information on Jill Carnahan’s site about mast cells. She thinks mold is one of the main causes of MCAS.

I’m not saying don’t look into parasites or other things. I’m just saying don’t overlook mold exposure. It could be present or past exposure. Doctors’ views on the whole Shoemaker protocol and guidelines are broadening.

In case you’re not aware, there’s a new organization called ISEAI that many doctors are joining. It’s the International Society of Environmentally Acquired Illnesses. Your doctor may already be onboard. Many are. Their website has a lot of useful resources for patients, too.

Don’t stay isolated. This is a great forum where people share knowledge and information and help each other troubleshoot problems.

thanks for the great info walking by faith! Mich appreciated! Luckily my new llnd is very knowledgable about mold and parasites and lyme and co infections and mast cell- which this is the first time it was even mentioned to me and we havent even gotten into it yet.
So I finally dont have to figure it all out on my own- she is an ilads traind llnd with 25 years of experience and she ust moved to my area this year which is why it took me so long to find her!!

I know there is not mold in my house. In my old house there was- I moved out of there 9 years ago-- got tick infection 7 years ago0 and was super healthy when i lived in that house and didnt even notcie or wasnt bothered by the mold.
Where we live now we built it new 5 years ago- all good materials and full sun all day long- and we put a conrete patio around the whole house-- so there is tons of aeration, no leaky anything and not even plants or shrubs close to the house= and a huge short mowed grass all around with tons of sun all day- and the house is only 5 years old and only we have lived in it --- so maybe mold was something that got into me 9 years ago but it is not thankfully something else to add to my burden.

and if it is form the 9 years ago I think my new llnd will help me. I think she is also savy about viruses and such but I am not totally sure as I have only had one sesison with her. I did have 4 vials of blood drawn at her office today but I am not sure exactly what she is testing me for- she seems to have a method and a plan and did tell me there are 4 things that make it so treatments dont work, and those things have to be addressed first- mold, parasites, heavy metal toxicity and one more which I forget. so i think I may actually be in good hands for the first time in my 7 years of chronic lyme- we will see if perhaps this outcome can be different for me and I have to be patient- I set up appointmetns with her for every two weeks. thx except I can right now only see the dr eveyr two weeks so amm still soem what tryign to figure thing out on my own

started mimosa pudica and it made my oral thrush flare up still feel all gripped up tight in abdomen diaphragm and like I can breathe.

I am on the third day of mimosa pudica and i dont think my body is ready for it- whatever my main symptom's cause ( severe distention accompanied by inability to breathe and feelign like something is squeezing closed my chest and diaphragm) feels worse today so either die off or flare up - whatever- so I think I need to figure out what this is first, get some other things better and head back on the MP later- ordered the liver kidney detox form microbe formulas, and also liquid oxygen, and a new babesia and bartonella formula. I am SO gripped up today- worse its been in a while- and totally cant breathe- its like my belly goes totally out and maybe its gas in my chest or maybe a pathogen causing the squeezing but I am being suffocated squeezed all the time and it is in a flare now so have to sotp the MP till I can figure this out., Still hopeful it will help me eventually and I really hope my new llnd can help me source what is CAUSING this. Cant beieve no one has figured it out for me yet. people on forums suggesting bartonella- got shi tincture ordered for bart and this one for babesia- what do you guys think of these formulas? gonna try them together--- opinions?

also can anyone help me figure out why I feel this way??? I am so utterly desperate again. wa somewhat improved for a while but now back to horrible. magnet treatments helped a bit with the breathing but seemed to perhaps increase the gripped up all the time thing- still cant breathe but maybe worse prior to magnets. Magnet person told me they were clearing each infection one by one but man I am gripped up-- so horrible this has to be figured out soon. it is not a thing that I hear others having so it doesnt fit even for a llnd a typical presentation so no one has bewn able to help me yet- any ideas??

Were you ever tested for mycoplasma and chlamydia pneumonias?

You said something about oral thrush. You have systemic Candida or other yeast infection? Were you tested or treated for Candida? Candida or other yeast/fungal overgrowth could definitely cause the belly bloating.

How is your bowel function? Is it normal or not?

You may have more than one issue going on here.

I am pretty sure the blood tests I took yesterday tested from myco and possibly chl. pneumonia-- the dr did mention testing me for myco pneu as she suspects I have it- what are the smyptoms??
when I say bloat people think of something I think far less severe than what I have I cant even put it into words- it is a severe constant distention and it feels like it in turn squeezes my chst shut so I cant breathe----
the only yeast I ahve eveer experienced is on my tongue
I am sure it is in my gut too though

I really need to figure this all out- oh man! I am miserable with the breathign rigtnow.
I am gonna try to get an earlier app with my new dr tho who knows if even she will gi=figure it out=--and maybe i will ask for specialty lab igenex coinfections tesst

thanks for the thoughts and any ore ideas appreciated and curious what the smpyomts are for c pneumonia and myco p? when I look up myco p it seems to be a short term infection not a chronic thing like I have sorry for all the typos

Babesia can make breathing really difficult. I have Babesia and breathing problems and sweating are my worst symptoms. Have never tested positive for it but I definitely have it. Treating it eases up my symptoms more than anything. I’ve been sick for 7 years too. Lyme also causes breathing problems.

Sounds to me like you’re herxing. Killing off parasites can cause pretty strong herxes so definitely go slow. Take a day or two off if you need to for herxing to subside and try again. I’m on Alinia for parasites. Have been in it for months and it still kicks my butt. Still haven’t gotten to full dose.

I really hope this new Dr helps you.
