Thanks 1000Dasies. Yes, sorry. Sometimes I get a little too worked up over these things, and am not considerate enough of people who are in compromised health situations on the board. I've been sick so long and to think that our tax money has gone to fund us getting sick gets me really worked up. But I should take a deep breath.

Jumping on this bandwagon, I was just reading on a forum that someone thinks they are hyping up this bioweapon angle - it's literally everywhere right now - to freak out the general public because they are trialling a new vaccine which would soon be able on the market. You can just imagine how many people would want the vaccine after reading all the horror stories in the press. Cynical, me? Never...

It's not a stunning admission because his resposne doesn't indicate any wrongdoing or admission of guilt. Though, I don't doubt that there was a generational mutation but his response "yah" to the interrogative sentence questions doesn't mean he admitted to anything.

Also, the book doesn't touch upon anything that was written in Lab 257. No conclusions were made except that it could have been weaponized and released by Russia.

Just finished the book, a lot of interesting research and points. Point source outbreak of different tick-borne pathogens in small geographic area and in the same time window is quite incredible.

What I didn't understand was the focus on the Russians and overly focusing on the assertion they may have released the ticks/pathogens in northeast US without any evidence beyond Burgdorfer's potentially selling off bioweapon tech to them. The main problem with that was that while this Russian angle was explored, the US bioweapons lab at the epicenter of all these outbreaks was barely talked about! I didn't understand that decision.

Also the Burgdorfer swiss bank account/unaccounted income angle was interesting.

I was wondering why she focused so much on the Russians too. Her recent interview was telling in that she seemed to be selling a book with a title which focused little on the details of the History of so called lyme Disease. She evaded many questions and said there's NO EVIDENCE for a US government Conspiracy, then she shunned the sickest of patients by stating that, she was afraid that we'll probably get violent if we read her book. I read her book but didn't find it earth shattering and was quite displeased with the little information there was on the History of Borrelia Burgdorferi.

Kris Newby's book draws upon the real experience of many people with chronic Lyme disease, including my own daughter's, and in that regard, I came to it with high expectations and good will. The descriptions of misdiagnoses, disbelief on the part of doctors, evasions and insults on the part of the medical establishment, and the whole strange economy of undiagnosed chronic illness ring true. But the book itself, stretched out over 252 pages, could easily be condensed into an essay of 3000 to 5000 words for all the information about "the secret history of Lyme disease" that it actually yields.

The "hard-nosed investigator" narrative essentially disappears into incoherence. The book proceeds through vaguely connected episodes that seem to promise some conclusion but never get to one, and it ends without anything more than a vague amping-up of paranoia. Ms. Newby's accusations of Lyme disease profiteering by pharmaceutical companies cannot compare to the profiteering Ms. Newby is doing with this unconscionably padded book. The author laments that Willy Burgdorfer, credited with discovering the Lyme disease spirochete, never told the whole story. Poor Willy Burgdorfer! Yes, Willy discovered the Lyme disease spirochete; yes, Willy was involved in weaponizing ticks as part of a biological warfare program earlier in his career; yes, Willy had far more money in his secret Swiss bank account than anyone could understand; yes, something might've happened — some kind of accidental release or perhaps even a Russian release — on Long Island in the late 1960s. But Ms. Newby proves nothing at all, though she spices her book with hints that the secrets she is revealing could endanger her life. The reader is led to expect some revelation but instead is left with hints, speculations, surmises, and an accumulation of details about red mites, Rocky Mountains spotted fever, the "Swiss agent," and the author's interviews with various experts who tell her nothing much. We get the whole, completely irrelevant story of Willy's life from his early days in Switzerland, his wife's depression, and his infidelity. Even the hints of his possible collusion with the Russians go nowhere, and yet Willy's fate in this book is clearly to bear the burden of Ms. Newby's suspicion that all the secrets of Lyme disease went into the grave with the silent Willy.

When the book ends with a meditation on the last words of Chief Joseph of the Nez Perce, it is essentially a dodge, an assertion that what happened to her quest for the truth is essentially what happened to the "Native Americans who used to live here" and who "understood that they were part of nature, not the overlords of all living things." She's right, no question, that Lyme disease may very well be connected to the whole progress of modern science from Francis Bacon on; it may very well be connected to the biological weapons program, and it surely says something about the hubris of our assumed "conquest of nature." But it's a little much to add such speculations to the end of the book purporting to tell "The Secret History of Lyme Disease and Biological Weapons," which it does not do.

JUST A STRONG WARNING: don't go to Bitten looking for answers about Lyme disease, its most effective treatment, or even its genuine origins. It is a confused and confusing book, and it made me angrier the longer I read it.

So, this Kris Newby happens to be the wife of one of the founders of TiVo, who has some shady connections.

Anyway, he has worked at biopharma incorporated companies and in multiple interviews she says antibiotics are probably not the cure, but Crisper probably will be. Hmmmmmm.

So, these LLC companies happen to develop algorithms and software for drug design as well as molecular docking, molecular similarity (Surflex-Sim), off-target prediction (Log-Odds group-wise molecular comparison), and binding affinity prediction (QuanSA) as well as statistical analysis of Genomes.

This is also an aspect of what Crisper does with agriculture and in the future the the Human.

Well I'd say I respect Newby's credibility because she helped produce the Under Our Skin Documentaries and even her and her own kids contracted lyme. I know many are suspicious why her book has gone viral, while Under the Eightball and Lab 257 didn't get much publicity at all. Everyone's got their own opinions, nothing wrong with being skeptic, because it is weird how the corporate media is allowing the story to be told all of a sudden. Maybe because the epidemic is so big they can't hide it any longer. I don't know for sure, but I know there's a lot of curiosity from everyone, because this is rather surprising they'd cover this biowarfare side of lyme, while they haven't even covered the chronic side and science behind biofilms, persister cells, or the coinfections. Even Dr. MacDonald's work and the possible link to parkinsons. It all makes you wonder...

Fox News gets some Dr. Marc Siegel from NYU Langone Medical Center to go on TV to act like oh yeah, lyme disease is an epidemic and huge problem and oh yeah it's also a biowarfare weapon too, lol, in Michigan we still can't even get most Doctors to acknowledge it exists in Michigan, considering this representative's testimony here.

I haven't even heard of the Doctor that she mentioned, which treated her with IV antibiotics and later died, I was only told there's basically 3 LLMDs in Michigan. So many secrets....

Just so much lies, disinformation, misinformation, and untruthfulness surrounding this disease, I'm not at least surprised everyone's starting to question these recent revelations in the news.

She probably had her TiVo husband call a few media people to get the right publicity. I like Under Our Skin but the sequel did nothing for me, and left more questions than answers. Under the Eightball was the only documentrary that really stuck with me and the guy actualyl went into the criminal doctors offices to ask the tough questions. Unfortunately, this got ZERO media attention. Recently, the media has already gone bonkers on the bioweaponization aspect of Borrelia Burgdorferi (though they call it Lyme Disease which makes me question their agenda), because they are likely talking about the false case definition, which really isn't an infection but rather a set of conservative symptoms based on fraud to pass off a bogus vaccine, which they are again trying to do. Newby pushed the Newsweek fearmongering article about the vaccine, so she's in on it too. Her Husband also has genome data corporation connections, Newby advocated Crisper on multipel occasions in her interviews. Her book isn't even about the secret history of lyme disease, like the title claims. I went in reading it thinking it was, and 2/3's in couldn't wait to finish it.

Sadly, Horowtiz is also on board with this, same with the Working Group which is another controlled opposition front.

They are fearmongering just like they did before and after the Anthrax attacks to reintroduce the bioweapons program and create an anthrax vaccine but in the case of Lyme Disease pass off a bogus vaccine for profit. To me this media campaign is obvious and frustrating, and many people that I thought were Lyme advocates are in on it. The ignoring of Dr. MacDonald is a travesty but that isn't surprising as he is a truth seeker. He wants to learn and isn't in it for profit.

Also, the legislation for the investigation into Lyme and its bioweapons link is a limited hangout becasue they put it into the NDAA of all places. THe act that legalized domestic propaganda.
