How to contact the site admin regarding the deleted white house Lyme petition?

Girlie you removed the petition that someone posted, and told us to take it up with the site admin.

But you didn't say where we can do that? Could you please tell us where?

I think I found the petition that was removed, and I agree with who posted it, it's really important to share.

The reason I'm vocal about it is because us Lyme sufferers have suffered from enough censorship, false information and people calling us crazy. This is the one of the only places online that we can actually talk. Or at least, that's what I thought...

RainyCloud - It is still a great forum - with lots of great discussions...and has helped many, many people - including myself. But, we don't own this site and must follow the rules....whether we agree with them or not.

What is the actual answer to this question? Are we seriously not allowed to even discuss a petition?

I'm not sure what's more pathetic....making this rule or enforcing it.

As you might see by my username, I was in a pretty bad place when I visited this forum. I made a thread asking for (or implying that I needed) help.

There were so many beautiful and kind responses that helped me so much. Then suddenly the thread got locked.
I'm not really upset, and to a certain extend I can understand it.

But what did hurt is that I never had a chance to thank all those people that helped me when I needed it. (I'm doing a lot better now, thank you to everyone who posted).

I feel like there is a lot of freedom on this forum, but when you start censoring or locking threads, you are walking a slippery slope to more censorship. Bit by bit. It always goes like that. It starts with "reasonable" censorship. And it ends with people leaving when it gets bad. We face enough of it online.

These rules have stayed the same.....and i haven't seen the censorship change since I have been here.
There may be some that slip past....but the rules are the same as they were.
Moderators don't always see every single thread/post....

Ive been here more than a few years and the rules have not changed. As Girlie noted, this site has an owner, the owner (administrator) makes the rules that apply for all the Healing Well individual forums on this site. Remember mods are not employees, there really is no reason to be a mod....its volunteer work, and they must do what the owner set forth from the start.

Although lymies feel everything is about lyme, when you have a bunch of other forums, this is just another one of the bunch to non-lymies, administration ect. yes, reality..

You can talk about petitions, tell others what it is, but, just not link to it. If readers they really want, they can just goggle it then.

Astroman, the entire thread was deleted due to DISCUSSING a petition. As stated above, the link to the petition had already been removed.

It's called overzealous moderating, lol.

To be clear - I am just one Moderator of many on this forum.
(As Astroman stated)

I do not work alone.

We currently have 3 for the lyme forum plus many others for all the other forums.
