Hello,

The phage borrelia test by Red Labs is now available in Europe & US

It is 6x more sensitive than ELISA or WB.
Suitable for early and late stages of Lyme.

I hadn’t heard of this test.

So it doesn’t rely on immune system to produce antibodies?

I wonder why it shows the WB not being able to detect borrelia past about 11 months after tick bite?

Girlie: Many patients (including me) have positive dark field microscope test + positive Elispot LTT and/or positive PCR, but negative serology (ELISA and Western Blot). My immune system doesn't produce antibodies anymore, while I have spirochetes in my peripheral blood, and lymphocyte activation against borrelia...

For me though - I tested 14 months after symptoms started and was IgM positive on the WB

So the WB does work for some people.

Yes it does, I agree with you. I have friends who are still positive for IgG and IgM.

If they can identify a Bb phage (bacterial virus) why can't they amplify the phage as a treatment?
