New Therapy For Lyme Disease and Co-Infections -SOT

Does anyone know anything about this or anyone who has tried this? A friend sent it to me and I am pretty unfamiliar with it. Supposed to only be $4000 though.

Apparently it is the same technology that is used to cure Hep C. It works by stopping the bacteria and parasites (works on babesia) from replicating for 6 months. The hope is that the pathogen dies off in that time and it is no longer able to replicate after 6 months once the treatment wears off, but you can always get a second treatment in 6 months if you choose to do so.

Please let me know what your thoughts are. Pretty interesting and it looks like it is available in the US.

the objective of this approach is spot on in that you have to stop these buggers from reproducing else you'll never kill enough of them to get better.

this is why we're all sick for so long they keep breeding and we can't stop them. this attempts to do that.

here's a layman's example on how this works. lets say you have babesia duncani in your blood. they recognize this based upon the dna sequence by taking the pathogen in your blood and comparing it to some database. they then create a nucleic strand which once injected into your body the pathogen will bind to and effectively neuter it making it unable to reproduce.

over time the population dies off and you are free of infection. they call it gene 'silencing' i would call it neutering or spaying ;-)

several potential problems with this. can you get to all the pathogens in your system? don't see how esp with lyme and how it hangs out in places blood doesn't flow.

lyme rarely shows up in a blood draw. babesia and bartonella for sure but not lyme so you can't develop this nucleic acid to bind to a pathogen that's not in your blood.

pathogens mutate so how will these folks recognize this since it won't be in this lookup database?

still i like the approach in that its different than trying to kill them or boosting the immune system. these approaches are the most popular but don't provide the cure rates that we need.

I noticed SOT was getting a little bit of traction today. Sounds like Dr Holtorf and his clinic in California are using SOT.
