Detox bath suggestion for all of you

Hi everyone I have a detox bath suggestion that I found on another Lyme support group. I just tried it last night and feel very warn out today so I think it definitely induced a Herx. You use 1 cup of goats milk or whole milk and 10-20 drops of Oil of Oregano essential oil. You can put both ingredients into a Manson jar and shake really well. Add to bath water and soak for 20 minuets. I was worried the oil would burn but it didn’t! Take a shower to rinse off right after. I plan on doing this bath once a week along with my daily Epson salt baths. I bet it would be nice as a foot bath as well. Feel free to share any other detox bath suggestion!

But I don’t want to induce a herx - the whole point of detoxing is to flush out toxins to get relief from a herx or ward one off

The oil of oregano may be inducing the dieoff - but that is pretty quick .

sounds like you are emulsifying oil of oregano with goat milk, like how mayonnaise is made I wonder if that is what is doing, or if there is something else going on. thanks for the tip

According to the girl who posted this it was her LLMD who told her about this bath. She claims it can help kill the bad guys so I was all for trying it. Regardless if it kills Lyme or not it’s good for killing cold germs as well which is a huge help for me.

I was just clarifying - so that any new members who aren't familiar with detoxing...arent confused...

(Since we detox to help rid our system of toxins...to feel better)

No worries smile and I agree you definitely don’t want to Herx but my point was it was strong enough to make me Herx so I’m guessing it was strong enough to help kill something.

i used that suggestion with @20/30drops and it was a good bart herx in the beginning.

as for detox baths 1cup of bentonite clay with 1/4 acv in hot water got me out of a few crisis's with some toxin over load removed really fast .

Yikes, will keep it in mind if it treats Bart but I definitely don't need anymore herxing lately...

What is the milk supposed to do now?

bluelyme, I was doing the bentonite clay baths for a while but they sure make quite a mess in the bath tub. Takes too much energy to clean up all the time. I don't know if I felt any better after it either. Gonna put both of these in my notes.

I have heard about clay baths before but have concerns about the tub or basin (if foot soak). I have fiberglass tub/shower. Aren’t you only supposed to use clay in ceramic or something?

I wonder if the milk and oil of oregano affect parasites. I know I have read about milk enemas in regards to parasites.

I think it’s just something for the oil to mix with. I guess goats milk works better but while milk would work as well. You’ll smell like a pizza afterwards but hopefully it will help!

ya it may scratch the gloss off cheaper inserts . not sure about septic use either but the clay baths are very effective.sometime ill do a body wide masque , let it dry then do extra in bath . a ginger and mustard bath may come in useful this winter again ...

mag oil and flakes in a bath has saved the day also...

ginger is just powder from coop like 3 big tablespoons and a scoop of dr singas mustard salts ... really warming
