I'm intrigued by this Facebook group.
I don't use social media anymore, so I don't know much about people's personal experiences with disulfiram.
What is the general consensus on there? Is there much in the way of success stories on there? At the moment, all I have to rely on is testimony from a small number of doctors and studies, which are few and far between.
I'm not going to join Facebook again and have my privacy invaded on quite that scale just to find out about Disulfiram.
No, there is a lack of success stories, but it is still very early. I am probably one of the first people on that FB to begin therapy (July 2). I started at 500mg. I had to take a break at 45 days due to toxicity issues. I continued treatment after the break at 375mg. This stuff will make you herx hard. I've never herxed so bad. However, I am still very sick. Hard to tell whether it will have any long term positive benefits yet. I do have Bartonella. It is unknown if it helps Bart or not.
I haven't seen any horror stories on the FB group regarding the liver yet. That's a good sign. There are real concerns about
neuropathy and psychosis.
