New Protocol with High Dose Vitamin C

I'm a little skeptical, but wondered what you thought about it. My ND has given me a new protocol to target babesia and I am assuming Lyme/other co's. He wants me to take liposomal astaxanthin, high dose liposomal vitamin c, and liposomal l-lysine. The astaxanthin is a master antioxidant that can reduce damage from free radicals. The vitamin c is an antioxidant that can reduce damage from free radicals. But can the vitamin c actually kill bacteria? He shared this video about the effects of high dose vitamin c on viruses, and that made sense. The whole bacteria and parasite thing doesn't make sense to me. I trust him, but I am not sure about this one. I think this combination would be super helpful in reducing herx symptoms from other killers, seeing its effect on reducing the effects of toxins. But I will have to do some more research on how these antioxidants can kill pathogens. What are your thoughts?

He didn't tell me. But even if it's liposomal it doesn't sound like it would be high enough to do anything. I've heard of people doing high dose intravenous vitamin c, but liposomal just doesn't sound high enough. Unless he knows something I don't know.

Years ago there were claims of high vit c curing cancer... what happened to that?

after reading lynus vit c book and using it to recover from my mild sjs it really helped ... 10 g wasnt enough 50g was a bit much but 25 g drips felt great! i was told by the nurse that cornbased vit c in cheap infusion center can be bad . i was told vit c has similar properties antibacterially as h202 because at 50g or more it converts h20 in blood stream to peroxide... it has 1 to 1 molecules conversion on the antioxidant side . drink lots of water when u go . more than 1 stick a week was traumatic to my arms precipitating the port installation....

why not liposomal artemisinin for babs ?

I fully believe that IV Vit C can cure babesia at high enough doses. You need to get to 100 gr though, 3X a week. That is expensive. I did it for a short while and felt great! I think it basically kills every pathogen in the bloodstream. Doesn't get the lyme and co in the joints or the brain, but anything blood born will die.

Oral? Eh, it will help, but its not a cure.

I had some costochondritis like chest pains that I assumed were from babesia, the Vit C IV took that away, at least temporarily. If I had been able to afford the full course I think it would have eliminated babesia altogether.

Georgia Hunter, the electron theory made sense to me. My friend who is a FDN-P said that the problem is that you need to bust the biofilms in order for the vitamin C to get to the bacteria, etc. She told me that biocidin and interfase Plus could help.

I don't see how astaxanthin is going to do anything for Babesia or Lyme/co. You actually want the opposite which is to create free radicals. That's how some of the Babesia killers like artemisinin work. That's also how it works to kill stationary phase borrelia in combination with Ceftin and azithromycin. Ozone works this way as well. Free radicals produce lipid peroxidation which kills the Lyme/Babesia.

its a specific ingredient in art than is effective against malaria a close cousin of babesia. most treatment failure are from b.ducanii not being treated past what it take to make all new rbc's in your blood . zhang and dr k formulate for this reason. i found wormwood tea to be effective in the beginning but i made the decoction pretty strong fwiw. back to the topic of the thread vit c ivs are great but if its a long term treatment please consider a picc line or port for ease of administration and literal arm trauma ....keep us posted

also axastathan is the algea antioxidant i must say the hawaii one worked well for fatigue... totally different animal tho jova just sayin idk which in quote to which u were referring...

I found a new doctor today who does the nutritional IVs. So I am going to try the IV and liposomal conjunctively. But they also do ozone and UBI. Those have worked well in the past. I may alternate between the two. That is if I can even afford all the dang IVs. These people making a killin off of us.
