Thank you Girlie,
Do you mean the city I live in? I included surrounding areas in my first post just in case there wasn't one in my city (Sacramento).
Does Band 41 & 66 indicate other co-infections that I should get tested for if they are not Lyme specific?
No, just the area...I mean in the title of the thread so people can see it when they look at all the forum threads.
Not everyone will
open this up and see where you're seeking one.
No, they don't really indicate other co-infections...
You can spend more money on testing for the coinfections - if you want. It can be helpful if you get positive results...but there is a high rate of false negatives....so if you do get a negative....it doesn't mean much.
If you do further test - I'd suggest the other two "B's. ie Bartonella and Babesia.
Many llmd's do not ask for further testing...mine does not. I did test for Bartonella after 1 1/2 years of treating.
It was a fairly cheap test facility...and thought I had nothing to lose. It showed I was positive. (still - after treating bart)
So, sure, if you have the money to spend...and want to try and pull a positive - go for it.
