Hey all I hope you’re doing well.
I am wondering if any of you know of anything helpful or useful for female hairloss in the middle of your hair line. It does seem in pictures I’ve always seemed to have like almost a backwards Widows peak but lately it seems very prominent. I am wondering if any of you have dealt with this? I’m 29 and have had thyroid issues. This year alone though it has seemed the worst.
Thanks for all!

Hair loss is an issue for me too, except it’s on the back of my head. Unfortunately I don’t know of anything that would stop it since it’s due to our whacked out hormones, but I do know of a fix until your Lyme goes into remission: eyeshadow. Find an eyeshadow that closely matches your hair color and use a fluffy eyeshadow makeup brush to blend it in from your roots outward. It seems silly but It works. You don’t have to buy anything expensive.

It does sound hormonal and possibly thyroid-related. I have experienced hair loss from hormonal changes. Even when I was healthy, if I took hormonal contraception, then I lost about
a fourth of my hair, sometimes more depending on the medication. I noticed it around the hairline, and the thinning was mostly on the top part of my head. As Lyme sends my hormone systems all over the place, I have noticed my hair thicken and thin several times. Any chance you are producing more or less than you should of any hormones - reproductive, thyroid, adrenal? Hope you figure it out.

I have the same issue, it scares me.
I have a huge patch of hair missing on top of my head since this year, it looks ridiculous.
There is no balding in my family at all.
I asked a friend if he could see it, and he said yes definitely.
I'm really worried it's gone forever.
Also, my left lower leg is completely bald now, which is so strange (I'm a guy).

Do you have problems with mold toxicity at all?
My hair was falling out so much I was afraid to run my fingers through my hair, I'd always take a handful of hair out no matter how many times in a row I'd do it! It was scary, I finally decided to cut my hair because it was depressing and scary. I lost the most hair around the hairline in the front. It grew back on the back but under a strong light I still see how much hair I am still missing.
It was because of toxicity from mold, things to help are
1) remove source of exposure (the most important by far, the only really important step in recovery)
2) to me personally kelp helped immensely with this

Thanks ya all for the advice. I’ve gone through so many pictures and know I’ve had this spot for my whole life it may just a bit thinner right now but is not terrible. My frequency lady has a mold wizard I’ll run in the house to help kill anything we’re not seeing or finding and also I got to figure out my allergies with my cats. My hormones are also a mess and so I know that can affect your hair and they need help. I will try this black seed idea though. Thanks for that!

Just for some hope: I have had hair fall out for a few months at a time, then, for unknown reasons, it stops coming out and grows back. It is growing back right now. My daughter even noticed it was thicker again.
There will be times I see lots of hair in drain, then none for a time. Not sure if it is Lyme, autoimmune or what, but I've gotten where I deal with it and wait for growth. Hoping same for all of you.

I will have to look into the neem and black seed oils for my hair loss. I will ask my NP that I see soon too about
it and see what she has. I'm sure with me it has to be my thyroid/autoimmune stuff causing the main issue. I shed so bad everytime I shower. It's really frustrating. I just don't like seeing that it seems thinner right at my hairline...

Maybe you can also have your zinc tested. Have you seen it in any of your previous blood work?

Just remember- the thing with thyroid management is getting tested way more than what any regular Dr thinks you need.
Any low period can result in hairloss for the next three months. And if your stressed, you need to help cortisol with anti-stress herbs. To much cortisol makes thyroid management more difficult.
