Swollen, painful vein on Palm *pic*

All the veins on the tops of my hands look like that and have for as long as I can remember. They don’t hurt, though.

I have had pain before that felt like it was in my blood vessesls in the inside of my elbows and palms and soles. It happened when I was having a lot of die-off symptoms from herbal parasite treatment. When I mentioned it to my doctor, she said it could be from too much die-off debris being pushed through the blood vessels (or something like that).

I didn’t remember seeing your name before, so I looked back at your previous posts. I saw you had high blood pressure along with an apparent acute kidney infection or UTI. Also saw you were without insurance. Have you been properly evaluated by any kind of doctor since the ER visits? How have you been since all that happened?

I would get checked out for the vein pain. especially in light of the previous high BP. You would want to rule out a blood clot.

Were you completely well and symptom free up until the point you had the high BP and flank pain? What do you think happened?

My blood pressure isn't nearly as high as it was a couple of months ago. It still fluctuates, but has gotten much better.

Because I don't currently have insurance, I am nervous to go to the ER, although I most likely will since the vein is still hard and raised. I have a friend that's a nurse that thinks it could be carpal tunnel syndrome, but I know nothing about that at all.
