Tests for blood thickness/Viscosity

Hi,

Has anybody on here had there blood viscosity tested?

One of my main symptoms is a really strong bounding pulse, seen and felt all over my body.

I live in the UK and I can’t get a blood test from my Doctor on the NHS at present. I could really do with knowing if this is the cause of the strong pulse.

I’ve been told to increase my salt (Himalayan) in-take to 10 grams a day due to some minors dysautonomia from my infection. Would this be safe to do if my blood was a bit too viscous?

Diagnosis Anaplasmosis. Currently only Doxycycline. Went 16 months undiagnosed.

Hi, welcome! Never heard of such a thing, but suffering from bad dysautonomia, myself!

I keep having BP crashes everytime I try a new Bartonella ABX/herb supplement bc they lower BP.

So I feel for you and your issues w/dysautonomia.

Thanks for the reply, sorry to hear about your dysautonomia issues sad.

It’s called a plasma viscosity test. It measures the thickness of your blood. I’ve read that Lyme and co-infections can thicken the blood, that’s why I’m concerned about it haha

Well, that could be true but I know I seem to have the opposite problem. Hahaha!

Have you noticed circulatory issues?

I think it also depends on the person.

in blood microscopy we call it roulaux ... the slide usually has loads of fibrinogen and cells are stacked like coins ....

Hey, blue. In such a case (roulaux / fibrinogen) would taking proteolytic enzymes help, if taken frequently enough, in sufficient quantity, and on an empty stomach? Just curious.

lumbrokinase on a empty did seem to help . baby aspirin and pycogenol may help make rbc more slippery. but nothing thins like the bee venom wich decimates borrelia biofilm also.

D-diner and anti plasminogen 2 is a great start most lymies about 90 percent have thick blood and too much fibrogen

I have had a D-Dimer, it was fine though. I’ll chase the other tests, for Fibrinogen etc.

I have pulsatile tinnitus and a really strong pulse all over my body, you can see it bouncing around from my neck to my femoral arteries. Echo, ecg’s and stress test were good. I read something about having a strong pulse in the suprasternal notch which has scared me a bit, but mine’s strong everywhere, not just there haha.

Many Lymies experience this too?

I’m considering Armin labs for Bart and Babs also, I’ve only had antibody tests for them.
