Foreign(physician)Consultant Legality

Good morning everyone. Have an odd question & can't find answers online. Does anyone know, the legality of a US citizen, hiring an online (consultant) physician, who lives in another country? He's a trusted, allopathic dr, who happens to live abroad. He's been advising me- occasionally- for years. I trust him. I'd like to make it official. Pay him to review new test results and offer advice on (proposed) procedures, recommendations, treatments. Is this something that's legal? Should I mention it to my new allopath, or would it just cause problems? Has anyone ever hired an online health professional?

You got to ask yourself if the law even matters when it comes to your own health.

Here's how I see it:

CDC doesn't seem to care breaking the law.
IDSA doesn't care.
LLMD's don't care about robbing you blind.

What even happened to that Pentagon investigation? lol

It's quite simple, just look after yourself and get better no matter what it takes, as long as you're not hurting anyone else in the progress.

Nobody is going to come knocking down your door for paying a foreign doctor.

I assume they cannot prescribe medications in the US. So they technically are not a doctor in the US they are nothing more then a hired consultant.
