bartonella and itchiness?

everytime i kill bartonella via herbs and rife i get incredible face/scalp/torso prickly itchy in the early morn hours (1-3am) wakes me up, and comes with itchy eyelids and gastristis (i think mast cells in stomach too)...i assume this is a histamine dump....

did anyone else have tons of itchiness when attaking bart- its like my body attacks the die off- i know its mcas to a degree but claritin/pepcid/quercetin arent helping at all

I get bouts of similar stuff. It’s probably MCAS but could still be caused by a bartonella flare or herx.

Dr M, the bart guru, also deals a lot with MCAS, so they must go hand in hand.

Mold can cause a lot of itching and MCAS symptoms, too.

I’ve had this and tested positive for Bart. It’s seems to come in waves then calms down.

I get itchy too. Mcas triggered from mold or bart is my guess.

Try a different antihistamine. Benadryl or levocetirizine (xyzal) work better than claritin for me.

I have been more itchy than usual lately. I have something called Grover's Disease, which is hard to see but itches like you know what. But lately the itch has spread from back and some on chest to hips. Not sure cause.

I have Bart and i get Itchy all over my face.. but you could test a herb once at a time to see wish is causing it. If two herbs Taken separately give you itches than there is strong probability that it is bart, because it would be very strange that two different herbs have the same effect dont you agree?

the thing is, the other day i said screw it and ran each bartonella frequnecy gotten from an asyra machine i test positive for on a gb4000...normally i run 30 minutes- this time i doubled the time- that night woke up with massive face itching, and that manic mind bart insomnia ive grown to hate i get on a bart herx....and stomach had gnawing hunger which is gastritis.....the thing, there were no herbs involved....i had a histamine reaction to the actual die off...ive read of others itching on rifampin too...

I had that from candida.

Its a cold dry winter as usual..............but im not nearly as itchy as before- I could not remain in place before

thank you to those who responded....its just so weird....i get woken up with itchiness inside tip of nose and forehead/left inner eye whenever i go after bart.... could be nerve irritation (ive got neuro bart/lyme) or histamine....and ill never know...just want it to go away

I've just gone through a wicked Bart herx and developed itching in my feet and ankles.

Last I heard, seberg was using a combination of Zyrtec, Zantac, Singulair, and ketotifen.

Running wild - I have Grovers Disease as well. Just saw dermatologist and it's from overheating when you work out usually as tiny red spots over chest and stomach - my back is severely dry as I do hot tub and infrared sauna to fight inflammation/muscle pain...I had this diagnosed long before the Bart came about but who knows!

I got a lot of itching, and attributed it to MCAS. Following the rules of low-histamine eating (google SIGHI list) and cutting out trigger foods helped a lot. However, nothing cleared it up but continued treatment, with herbs for me because abx just made it worse.
My itching comes back periodically and my doctor thinks it's parasites. Going to start herbs soon to eradicate those, because my doctor actually thinks Lyme is in remission and my problems are residual damage and parasites. Fingers crossed!
