Hello! Via the Vibrant Lyme test I am positive for Borrelia. I have bands on western blot and another test I took. Low CD57/CD8 I think it’s called...
Can someone tell me if Vibrant is an accepted test and will an LLMD acknowledge it? I’m looking for a second opinion.
I’m seeing a specialist for Mast Cell Activation Syndrome in 4 weeks and the Lyme could be a trigger. I’m having a terrible time not reacting to supps and foods.
Any recommendations for an LLMD/LLND near me is much appreciated.

A good LLMD will do an evaluation and clinically diagnose lyme and use testing to back it up.
I don’t think where you tested positive matters.

How long have you had symptoms?

I’ve had body aches and pain for years now. I had an episode in June 2018 where my stomach and esophagus spasmed and I couldn’t breathe. Since that night I’ve not been right. I am seeing a MCAS doctor in January.
I have body pain, petechia, itching, numbness, neuropathy, extreme anxiety, depression, brain fog, multiple chemical sensitivity, food sensitivity, Headaches, major brain fog, worsening eye sight. Every single system in my body is affected. I also have antibodies for hashimotos. I have EBV as well

Those symptoms are hard to deal with. The petechiaie is likely Babesia.

I also had a lot of symptoms... it was scary - pre diagnosis... wondering what the heck was wrong with me.

Hope you get some suggestions for a LLMD.
