For me besides probiotics (I buy them on Amazon and change the brands often), milk kefir works the best. I bought kefir grains on Amazon and make my own. First and only time I got thrush in my mouth was when I was on vacation for two weeks and I didn't have my kefir. My milk kefir has more strains of bacteria and yeast (20-30) than the one from the store (5). Kombucha has too much yeast. Water kefir didn't work as well, I don't know why. I also make my own sauerkraut.
My LLND told me to buy probiotics that contain saccharomyces boulardii, beneficial yeast that prevent overgrowth of candiada. Or other option is to buy them separately and take with probiotics containing lactobacteria.
