IGENEX Testing Vs Galaxy Diagnostics in NC

Hi, I told my friend who lives in CT to get tested thru IGENEX. But she said her Drs are insisting on using Galaxy Diagnostics in NC, and that this lab is better when testing for Bartonella, which is what they suspect she has in addition to Lyme. Any thoughts here? She asked me and I don't have a clue. Thanks in advance if anyone has any input.

Galaxy Labs is known to be the better lab for testing for Bart.
But it’s not cheap.
The Bart “guru”, Dr Mozayeni is the Chief Medical Officer.


I believe they also test for lyme.

This is the case for Bart. Going to a dr next month specifically because she goes through galaxy for bart and I’d like to rule it out

From my understanding, Galaxy is the best lab for bart testing, BUT you can still get a negative result even if you have bart. Bartonella seems to be the hardest to test for.

The only bart test I had was DNA Connexions and bart was negative, even though I have many bart symptoms since childhood. I never felt the need to spend money to seek a positive bart test, as I had so many clinical symptoms and was positive for Lyme and ehrlichia.
