I havent been able to make much progress with the herbs. Nothing seems to touch it, only thing thats helped is diet. By reducing hte inflammation that I eat its helped greatly. AIP diet is whats called for, but i found it too rigid so im doing paleo.
IVIG will help for sure assuming its SFN and autoimmune. Typical SSRIs like zoloft wont help, but Cymbalta may. Gabapentin and lyrica are also often used w/ some success. What country are you in?
I'm in Norway. I just started paleo, so we'll see how that goes. Is there any way for the neurologist to tell if it's autoimmune neuropathy or not? Do they assume since i have an autoimmune condition? Or just try out meds/treatment to see how one responds?
And btw i also got borderline high BP yesterday. Never had that my whole life, even with 13 years of Hashimotos and tickinfections. That can be related to neuropathy, yes?
