I didn’t realize at first what was happening - sex was painful..
Then I went to my Dr for a Pap test and she took one look and said I had atrophy and the Pap test may hurt.
She kept apologizing when she was trying to do the test because it really hurt!
She finally stated that she was doubtful that she got a good sample to test.
She was right - test results said something about an inadequate sample.
She prescribed the Vagifem pellets and it has worked.
It’s a micro dose of estrogen - not enough to raise blood levels.
So... I guess mine was severe.

I have had this before. I have peripheral neuropathy all over and have continual burning pain in my right butt and now lower back. Sometimes chronic neuropathic itch on upper arms. I am currently being testing again to see if bartonella is back as my doctor said its the bart that will cause the burning feeling.

I almost hope it is bart as my mind is going to all kind of things!! Fingers crossed it gets better for us both do let me know if anything works for you!

Interstitial Cystitis can cause vulva burning. It’s a bucket diagnosis though. For me, IC symptoms flare with all types of meds (antibiotics being the worst), stress, hot baths. I’m thinking it could be a histamine thing. I’m sure there’s other root causes, but I feel big ones are yeast/fungal/mold, bart, mcas (histamine). I have all 3 of those.

For the longest time I was taking hot epsom baths daily and didn’t realize it was keeping me in a flare. For me, it’s frequent urination and burning after urination. The burning is more in urethra.

Have you tried antihistamines? Do you have allergies? Ever tried diflucan?

Ko7 I do sometimes wonder if I have IC, what were your main symptoms of it?

Hearts in pain - haven’t tried anything really, had a gynae appt and she’s prescribed a topical steroid cream and moisturiser called cetraben.

She specifies that it smells good, tastes good, and is entirely non-toxic.

Wow Saraeli that products sounds amazing! I’ve just had a look online and it looks great and being non toxic all the better. Thanks so much for forwarding this I’m going to see whether I can get hold of it in the UK
