Can peptides cause herxing?

Have lyme, babesia, and Bart. I started BPC-157 injectable (healing peptide, helps heal injuries and the gut) 2 units yesterday to help heal my gut and woke up at 5am morning with severe headache, head pressure, and nausea. I never get headaches or nausea. Today I feel spaced out, head pressure, anxiety, flushing, chills, emotional. Does anyone know, if the BPC caused this, how?? My stool test showed leaky and inflamed gut. I stopped antibiotics 2 weeks ago because they were killing my gut. I’m pulsing herbals, didn’t do them last night. Would doing them tonight help?

I had EXACTLY this reaction, in addition to feelings of impending doom. It was terrible for about 3 days. It’s now been 5 days and I’m still not all the way recovered. I was stable when I did the injection. I have Lyme, viruses, co infections and mold. I contacted the pharmacy and the pharmacist said he’s never heard of herxing or symptoms from this peptide. He thought maybe I was reacting to an additive but I do plenty of vitamin injections and IVs and have never had a reaction.
