Before I got sick I didn't have a care in the world and did anything I wanted when I wanted. I drank close to every day in some degree, smoked cigarettes, ate whatever I wanted when I wanted, I hardly ate any healthy food and was big into cheese/dairy/fried food. Besides being tired at times and out of it there was never any big issue. I weighed a 100 pounds more than I do now. I never even heard of gluten. With all this I was still able to fully function, go and do whatever. Sure I wasn't close to what I could of been but still. I know this is probably the case with the majority on here at least in some regard. It's just really crazy when you look back and put things in perspective with life before and after getting ill.

Yes it sucks . Steals from you everything you took for granted and everything you planned on.

Yeah those days are gone. It is a wake up call of mammoth proportions when we realize there once was a time when you could afford to take health for granted. Now health is wealth.....

Exactly! Now it's like turn your life around doing a 180, but still hold on tight for the ride cause you might make it out but you won't know until you get there.

My Engmish is not good enough to express my thoughts but I totaly agree with all that. One week before being hit by this crap, I told to my daughter that her mom was young and nothing could happen to me.
Now I seem crazy with my no sugar no gluten no no no diet, my crying crisis, my pains that I can t even describe...
Four years ago, I drank every saturday, was always happy and funny, renovated my house...
I want my life back !!

Cignet I think we are truly canaries in the coal mine. With Lyme being more prevalent and all the rise of chemicals, mold, mast cell, it's going to be a point in the next 20 years where people are really going to have no option to get on board to be honest and it will be the hard way unfortunately that this is accepted and understood widely.
